Milani Conceal and Perfect 2 in 1 Foundation

The Milani Conceal and Perfect 2 in 1 Foundation has been on my beauty radar for a long, long time but I’ve never been able to try it as their shade range wasn’t the best. Amazingly Milani introduced a selection of new shades in different tones (29 shades total) so I finally decided to try it and I chose the new 00A Porcelain shade from Just My Look. The lightest shades of the Milani Conceal and Perfect 2 in 1 Foundation are 00AA Ivory (fair with pink undertones) and 00A Porcelain (fair with neutral pink undertones). I wasn’t sure which of the two would suit my skintone the best but it’s 00A I ended up choosing from the swatches I’d seen online.

The Milani Conceal and Perfect 2 in 1 Foundation is £12.95 ($16.45) here in the UK but $9.99 (£7.86) in the US so we don’t get a good deal when purchasing Milani product within the UK. I do like that Just My Look have regular discount codes and offers though, so if you can save money I’d definitely recommend doing so as £13 is quite pricey for a drugstore foundation.

The packaging is really sleek with a clear glass bottle and an ombréd black design, with a black plastic pump. The pump is decent as far as foundation pumps go as it allows you control how much product you want and it doesn’t get clogged up either.

Starting off on a negative, I really don’t like how heavily fragranced the foundation is as it’s unnecessary for it to have such a strong floral scent. The scent only lasts for around twenty minutes but it’s there regardless. Shade wise, the 00A Porcelain shade still isn’t pale enough and looks very orange on the skin. In the bottle, the shade looks promising but it dispenses and applies darker than it looks in the bottle.

The Milani Conceal and Perfect 2 in 1 Foundation has a really nice, buildable medium coverage whilst looking natural and it even covers up a lot of my freckles which isn’t something I ever want in a foundation, but it just emphasises how good the coverage is. Aside from the shade and scent issue, the Milani Conceal and Perfect 2 in 1 Foundation loves to cling to every single dry patch or imperfection even with a pore blurring primer underneath which is disappointing as I like the coverage so much.

If you have dry skin, I’d recommend giving this foundation a wide berth as it looks awful on my dry and dehydrated skin but if you have oily skin, I really think you’ll like it as it’s so long wearing with decent coverage too.

Have you ever tried the Conceal and Perfect 2 in 1 Foundation?
