Coastal Scents Blush Essentials Blusher Palette Review and Swatches

If you love bright coloured blush, I have the perfect palette for you and it’s from Coastal Scents. I shared a couple of the Coastal Scents Lipsticks here on my blog a few weeks ago, and I really had no idea they did anything other than eyeshadow singles, eyeshadow palettes and makeup brushes. The Coastal Scents Blush Essentials Blusher Palette is just $10, but it’s regularly on sale meaning it’s even more affordable and even at $10 it works out at just £1.27 per shade.

The Coastal Scents Blush Essentials Blusher Palette is packaged within a cardboard palette, with a pink to white ombréd design with pretty orchids all over the inside. It’s very simple packaging, but it definitely doesn’t look like a £7 palette – it’s so pretty and compact. The blushes inside the palette contain 3.7g of product, in oval shaped pans.

Give your cheeks a stunning rush of color with this travel-friendly blush palette packed with a variety of finishes.

The Blush Essentials Palette offers six unique shades to accentuate your naturally beautiful face. It’s conveniently compact for on-the go applications, fitting perfectly into a small purse, clutch, or travel bag.

Six distinct colors, 3 mattes, 2 satins, and 1 shimmer are included. Three pink shades, a tan, an orange and a purple make this a perfect everyday blush palette!

I like that the palette includes a mixture of finishes, and that you can blend shades together to create your perfect custom shade. The shades within this palette are all different variations of vivid pinks, and I’d love to see Coastal Scents create perhaps a nude shade version or a peach and coral shade version too.

The six shades within the Coastal Scents Blush Essentials Blusher Palette are all super vibrant within the pans, but they have a buildable formula which I much appreciate as I hate blushes which look like you’ve used a Stabilo highlighter on your cheek with the lightest of touches with your brush.

Each of these swatches are two swipes of my fingertip, and the first three shades are more sheer compared to the last three shades in the palette. I think this palette would be particularly great for people of colour as they are so buildable, you can achieve a really bold pop of colour.
