I shared my thoughts on the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Ultra Fine Mist here on my blog recently, which was my first ever product from Glow Recipe. Glow Recipe are a super popular US based beauty brand offering clean, fruit powered skincare designed to help bring out your inner glow. Their product range utilises the highest quality natural ingredients, and believe what’s not in the formula is just as important as what it is. Their skincare range is totally clean, cruelty free and free from parabens, sulfates, and phthalates, among others. You can find the Glow Recipe range over at Cult Beauty, and today I have the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturiser to share with you.
\”90% of this silky glow moisturizer is spiked with vitamin and amino acid-rich watermelon extract, plumping hyaluronic acid, and soothing botanicals like peony and jasmine extracts. This 100% oil free cooling gel-emulsion absorbs instantly to seal in hydration and prep skin for the day ahead. Antioxidants guard against free radicals and repair damaged cells along the way. Used morning and night, it drenches skin in luscious, long-lasting moisture.“
The Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturiser is available in two sizes; 20ml £19.50 and 60ml £36. Just like the Glow Mist, the moisturiser has beautiful packaging. Packaged within a textured, white cardboard box with slices of watermelon stacked on the front. The bottle is clear, with a slightly ripped effect and the moisturiser inside is a pastel pink colour. As far as moisturiser packaging goes, it has to be one of the most aesthetically pleasing packaging designs and it looks so pretty among the boring pots and jars within my skincare collection.
Before trying anything from Glow Recipe, I did wonder whether the whole fruit thing was a gimmick but the products really are lovely, and not only do they smell fantastic, the formulas are really effective too. The Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturiser is said to be suitable for dry skin, normal skin, sensitive skin and oily/combination skin. It’s rare to find a moisturiser which suits such a good range of skin types. For skin concerns, it’s good for acne, dullness, dark spots and anti-aging.
Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturiser Review
The moisturiser smells incredible. I know scented skincare isn’t necessarily the best for our skin, but it definitely adds to the experience of using the product. It has an almost gel-like consistency which feels more like a serum than it does a moisturiser but it’s so easy to massage into the skin, and I love how refreshing it feels in the mornings. I can only imagine how divine it’d feel if it was kept in the fridge during the summer months, for an extra cooling and soothing boost. It’s not the most hydrating of moisturisers, but if you like a lighter, plumping moisturiser, I think you’d love the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturiser.
