2019 has been Pixi’s 20th anniversary, and to celebrate the Pixi twenty years of glow, Pixi kindly gifted their bloggers a selection of their bestselling makeup and skincare products. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed sharing reviews of many Pixi products over the last three years, and I’ve discovered some absolute favourites along the way. If you’d like to see which Pixi products make up their bestsellers, keep on reading…
“Petra Launched Pixi Beauty 20 years ago in London, with one mission in mind, to create skin-loving products that create a naturally radiant “just had a good night’s sleep” look.
Over the years, Pixi has evolved from offering colour favourites to offering a wide variety of botanical-infused Skintreats, skin-loving colour products and Bodytreats.
Pixi launched in a flagship boutique in Soho, London, in 1999 and has grown to have a loyal worldwide following thanks to its pure, awakening & skin-loving products. Petra’s passion is to create cruelty-free beauty products that achieve a healthy-looking, natural glow. The now iconic Glow Tonic was created as the perfect skin-prep before makeup.
Pixi is all about youth enhancing multipurpose products to make you look like you, only better.“
I am thrilled that the Rose Ceramide Cream made the Pixi 20 years of glow bestseller’s line-up as it’s my all-time favourite Pixi product, and possibly one of my all-time favourite skincare products full stop. It’s the most super nourishing cream which I love to use as an overnight facial mask whenever my skin’s feeling particularly dry. It’s my go-to product whenever I’ve had an allergic reaction, or my skin’s feeling irritated as it does an amazing job at calming the skin whilst also imparting any lost moisture. I love this product so much, it even made my 2019 beauty favourites line-up too.
Would any Pixi line-up be complete without a mention of the iconic Pixi Glow Tonic? This is one seriously loved glycolic based toner which has had so much hype since its initial launch. It’s actually not one of my favourite Pixi products as I find it to be a little too mild for my liking, but I think it’s particularly effective for applying to the body to help slough away dead skin cells, and it’s great for preventing ingrown hairs post-shave. My personal favourite is their Rose Tonic, which works well alongside the Rose Ceramide Cream.
The Pixi twenty years of glow is down to many of their glow inducing products. They have a whole collection of Glow products with eighteen different products in total. The Glow Mist is an all-over glow mist for a radiant, dewy effect. It’s enriched with 13 natural oils plus propolis, aloe vera and fruit extracts, can be used to set the makeup, add a dewy finish or protect the skin. It can even be used on the hair, and is a real multitasker to own within your collection.
The first of the makeup products within the Pixi twenty years of glow bestsellers is their Eye Reflection Shadow Palette which I reviewed back in March. There are multiple palettes within the Eye Reflection series, and this palette is the beautiful shimmer packed Reflex Light Palette. If you’d like to see the swatches of this palette, you can find my original post right here, but the pigmentation is fantastic and I really like the mix of both warm and cool toned shades making it the perfect everyday eyeshadow palette.
The Pixi Endless Silky Eye Pen liners deserve a lot more hype within the beauty community as they’re truly one of the best pencil eyeliners I’ve tried – and they’ve won awards too. There an impressive 26 shades to choose from which really is amazing, and they have a waterproof, super-long-wear, no-smudge, no-budge formula which glide on like seamless silk, and in a single sweep motion to create a flawless, solid jewel-toned line. If you’re yet to try the Pixi liners, I highly recommend them and I also love their Lash Line Ink Liquid Liner too if you prefer a liquid eyeliner.
The Pixi MatteLast Liquid Lipsticks had to make the cut as they’re one of longest lasting liquid lips I’ve tried. I shared a review with swatches of eleven of the shades right here, but they now have fourteen different shades to choose from. This particular shade is Pleasing Pink which is one of their newest shade additions and it’s a bright magenta pink, but they have beautiful nudes, corals, pinks, reds and berry shades too. Even though they’re longlasting, they’re comfortable on the lips as they’re infused with rose hip oil, and they set to a matte veil while leaving lips hydrated.
Pixi LipLift Max Glossy Lip Plumper
The only product from the Pixi twenty years of glow bestseller line-up is the Pixi LipLift Mac Glossy Lip Plumper, and I’m so glad I’ve finally been able to try it. They’re available in five different shades, and is a peptide-infused lip plumper that nourishes as it enhances. It’s a volume-maximizing lip treatment with a cooling sensation and glossy finish with added aloe to heal, jojoba to moisturise and chamomile to soothe with a fresh mint flavour.
I’d love to know if you’ve tried any of these products, and which Pixi product is your favourite?
