Chloe Eau de Parfum Review

Chloe Eau de Parfum Review

One of my all-time favourite fragrances is Chloe Love Story, and I’ve repurchased it three times since I first discovered it almost five years ago. It’s such a beautiful fragrance, and as much as I love the Love Story fragrance, I hadn’t ever tried the original Chloe Eau de Parfum. I got my Chloe Eau de Parfum from Beauty Base, and they have the original Chloe, Chloe Love Story and Chloe Nomade fragrances on offer. The original Chloe Eau de Parfum is available on Beauty Base in three sizes; 30ml £49, 50ml £66 and 75ml £79.99, allowing you to choose which size you prefer.

Chloe Eau de Parfum Review

Firstly the packaging is just stunning, and it would look amazing on anyone’s dressing table. It has a square, ridged glass bottle with silver chrome detailing around the top, as well as a textured ribbon around the neck. It has such a timeless design, and all sizes of the fragrance have the same design. Some fragrances have different designs depending on the size, but the Chloe Eau de Parfum design is the same across all three sizes.

Chloe Eau de Parfum Review

If like me, you love the Love Story fragrance, you’ll adore the original Chloe which was designed to capture the creative, confident individuality of the Chloe woman. Described as being a fresh, feminine fragrance suited to a free spirit with an utterly innate sense of chic. The scent takes the classic rose and ingeniously translates it into a vibrant perfume, intimate and sensual.

Chloé Eau de Parfum begins with a combination of floral powdery notes, hints of peony and lychee and springtime freesia. The airy, flirtatious head notes drift away to reveal the richer and more sensual side of the rose. The distinctive character of this unique rose is accompanied by magnolia and lily of the valley, as well as subtle intimations of warm amber and elegant cedarwood.

I can totally see why this is such a popular perfume, and why it is one of the most popular ‘signature scents’ for women as it smells incredible, and lingers on my skin for upto ten hours, and even longer on clothes. In comparison with Love Story, the original Chloe is a little warmer and if you love Stella McCartney Stella, you’ll love the Eau de Parfum even more.

You can find the Chloe fragrance right here.
