Today is another Saturday which means it’s time for another AliExpress product. I featured seven shades of the Focallure Glitter and Glow Liquid Eyeshadows here on my blog back in 2018, and I love them. They’re so affordable, but so beautiful, so I was thrilled when I saw that Focallure had launched some new shades.
The Focallure Glitter Liquid Eyeshadows are £3.99 if you purchase them via an UK eBay seller, but they’re massively cheaper on AliExpress. I bought three of the newest shades, and on AliExpress they were only £2.40 with free UK delivery, and quick delivery too.
The Focallure Glitter Liquid Eyeshadows used to be available in ten different shades, but the shade range was extended to fourteen. I bought three of the four new shades, and skipped on the other one as it’s a bold blue and I just can’t pull off bright blue eyeshadow.
I bought my eyeshadows from the Focallure Official Store on AliExpress, and I’ve ordered from them many times with never any problems or issues. If you’re nervous about ordering from AliExpress, I’d always recommend using makeup brand’s official stores and you can tell which ones are the official store if they have a little medal icon under the name, and there’s usually “official store” within the store’s name too.
The Focallure Glitter Liquid Eyeshadows are actually called Glitter and Glow on the box, but that name isn’t written anywhere on the tubes once you’ve taken them out of the box.
The packaging is very simple, with clear rectangular tubes and black square lids. The eyeshadows all have long, flat doefoot applicators which work well at applying an even layer of eyeshadow but I personally prefer to use my fingertip as I like to be able to control where the glitter goes.
The three new shades I bought were; Platinum 11, Peacock 12 and Amethyst Crush 13. If you love liquid glitter eyeshadows, you have to try the Focallure Glitter Liquid Eyeshadows as they’re seriously pretty and it blows my mind that just over £2 each. There’s no doubt that the formula of these are on par with the Stila Glitter Eyeshadows, except you could purchase TEN Focallure eyeshadows for the price of ONE Stila.. yes really.
Platinum is the kind of shade everyone needs in their collection, as it has a sheer silver base but it’s loaded with silver glitter and holographic sparkle. As it’s silver and holographic, it can be used layered over absolutely any eyeshadow shade and as it’s sheerer than the rest of the shades in the range, I feel like it makes them more versatile. Peacock is the most beautiful duochrome shade, with a gold pink duochrome base, loaded with sparkle. Amethyst Crush is another duochrome shade, and has a cranberry gold duochrome base with gold, cranberry and orange sparkle.
The Focallure Glitter Liquid Eyeshadows have a few different duochrome shades, and my favourites from the whole range are Diamond 01 and Peacock 12 as they’re just so beautiful and unique. I just can’t believe how amazing these glitter shadows are for £2.40 each.
If you like glitter eyeshadow toppers like the Stila Glitter and Glow Eyeshadows, you have to try these as you’re going to love them. I own seven of the Stila glitters, and as much as I love them, these Focallure shadows are just as great and I hope they extend the shade range even further as I can’t get enough of them.
