If you like sparkly hair accessories, you’ll love this Star Crystal Hair Clip from AliExpress for Under £1. Whenever I’m bored or in the mood for some procrastination, I tend to while away the time on the AliExpress App. I know AliExpress isn’t for everyone, especially when it comes to makeup, but they have so many amazing things and all so affordably priced too.
I’ve never had any bad experiences with AliExpress as their customer service is great, and if you ever order something and it never arrives, you can raise a case through customer services to get your money back. One of my favourite things to buy on AliExpress is accessories and when this beautiful Star Crystal Hair Clip arrived, I couldn’t believe how beautiful it was for the price, so I knew I had to blog about it as it was under one pound. Yes really.
I love anything to do with stars. I don’t know why, but I just love them and anything star related, so I’m always on the look out for pretty star related jewellery and accessories on AliExpress and I’ve found so many lovely pieces over the last couple of years. When it comes to my hair, I really like to chuck it up in a messy bun as it’s so long it gets on my nerves.
But I find that a pretty hair clip or slide can make a ten-second bun look so much more put together. So when I saw this Star Crystal Hair Clip on AliExpress for a ridiculous 95 pence, I knew it was worth a try even if it didn’t look half as pretty in real life – but it looks even prettier than it looked in their photos.
There are so many different star hair clips, slides, hairbands and hair accessories on AliExpress but I particularly loved the look of this one as it looked super sparkly with lots of individual crystals. It’s a really decent size too, with a silver coloured hair slide.
On the slide there are two stars, one slightly larger than the other and each point of the stars have a round glass crystal, with rectangular almost baguette style glass crystals connecting the points of the star. Usually you find crystal hair clips to have round crystals, but this one looked really unique to what you’d normally find so it’s crazy that it was only 95 pence with free UK delivery, and fast delivery too.
I feel like this Star Crystal Hair Clip has an Anthropologie or Oliver Bonas vibe to it, and I could totally envisage paying £15 to £20 for something similar to this from there. It’s such a beautiful clip, and I’ve worn it maybe 5-6 times so far and had no issues with any of the crystals falling out which is pretty amazing considering how affordable it is.
I wouldn’t normally blog about something that costs less than £1, but I wanted to share it as I’ve been so impressed with the quality and I’ll share more of my AliExpress non-beauty discoveries going forward.
