ELF Flawless Concealer Review / Swatches

When it comes to ELF concealers, everyone talks about the ELF Camo Concealer but never the ELF Flawless Concealer. I was placing a Boots order 0n their website, and I wanted to pick up some of the products you can only find on the Boots website and not Superdrug. I’d never heard anyone talk about the ELF Flawless Concealer before, so I had no idea if it was going to be any good.

This satin-finish, natural coverage concealer smooths and blurs the appearance of imperfections for flawless, natural-looking coverage. The buildable, creamy formula is perfect for everyday use.

The ELF Flawless Concealer is £5, and I was really surprised by how stingy this concealer is. Yes the price is quite affordable, but you only get 2.8ml which is the lowest amount of product I’ve ever seen in a concealer. Most brands have double, or triple that amount of product and 2.8ml is never going to last for very long, and the tube looks so tiny.

The ELF Flawless Concealer is available in 18 different shades, and I chose the Fair Rose shade as I have the same shade in the Camo Concealer formula, and it’s a really good shade match for my skintone. ELF describes the formula of this concealer as containing Squalane to help moisturize and nourish the skin for lasting hydration.

This concealer appealed to me, as it’s described as having a satin finish. One of the reasons I hated the Camo Concealer, was how drying and chalky it felt on the skin. They did recently launch a hydrating version of their concealer, which I’ll review very soon, but I thought I’d enjoy the satin finish of this ELF Flawless Concealer.

I really love the formula of this concealer, as it’s a lot more lightweight and it’s forgiving on the skin. It doesn’t emphasise lines, but the downside is the lack of pigment.

If you want a concealer which will just perfect your skin a little you might really enjoy this ELF Flawless Concealer, but if you have blemishes, imperfections and darkness, the coverage isn’t the best unfortunately.
