At the beginning of the year, I started an AliExpress series sharing some fab beauty finds. However, I decided to stop the series as it didn’t feel appropriate with what was going on, and AliExpress orders were taking considerably longer to receive.
The Focallure Sculpt Glow Contour and Highlight Duo is something I bought from AliExpress, but I wanted to feature it on my blog now, as AliExpress order delivery time is seemingly back to normal.
I decided to blog about the Focallure Sculpt Glow Contour and Highlight Duo, as it’s something you can purchase via the Focallure website directly. Only a few of the AliExpress beauty brands have their own website you can order from, and Focallure is one of them. So whilst I haven’t started my series up again yet, this is technically something you can purchase away from AliExpress.
Focallure Sculpt Glow Contour and Highlight Duo
“This is the compact that boldly glows where none have gone before: Contour, shade, sculpt and highlight with our Powder Contour & Highlight Palette. The soft, buildable powder formula makes application easy and blends effortlessly for a seamless look.
The pressed powder quad features 1 contour shade, ideal for sculpting hollows of cheeks, hairline, nose and jawline, and 1 shimmer highlight shade for brightening and adding glow to cheekbones, cupid’s bow, nose, corners of the eyes, collar bones and any areas you want to add radiant shimmer.”
The Focallure Sculpt Glow Contour and Highlight Duo is available in four different shades;
- #01 Maui Nights & Opal
- #02 Capri Coast & Jasmine
- #03 Ipanema Sun & Champagne Pop
- #04 Rose Gold & Pearl
Each of the duos are $10.99 on the Focallure website, but I did order mine via AliExpress where I paid $7.99 – and that’s from the Official Focallure Store so it’s the same people. If you purchase via the official store, they have free UK delivery too so it’s much cheaper than purchasing from their website.
I bought the Focallure Sculpt Glow Contour and Highlight Duo in shade #01 Maui Nights & Opal which is the lightest duo they offer, and it couldn’t be more perfect for my skintone. The contour shade is the most amazing cool toned shade with one of the most blendable formulas for a contour powder I’ve ever used.
The highlighter is an intense light champagne. My swatches are never filtered, but you can see how intense the highlighter is as it is reflecting under my studio lights. You can achieve a subtler effect when applying a much lighter layer to the skin.
It seriously compares in terms of quality with the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Highlighters. Even the packaging is pretty, with a magnetised compact and a rose gold foil palm leaf design. I can’t believe this duo was under £10, it really is amazing and I cannot recommend it enough.
