When it comes to micellar waters, I have quite the obsession in trying anything new. I’m such a micellar water convert so when I saw the Garnier Micellar Oil Infused Cleansing Water, I decided I needed to try it. My favourite way to remove my eye makeup is by using a micellar water, and they tend to offer better value than using say a specific eye makeup remover.
Garnier Micellar Oil Infused Cleansing Water Delicate
Garnier have a crazy amount of different micellar waters now, it’s hard to keep up. They originally started off with the ‘pink’ version which is supposedly for sensitive skin, but I always found that one to be too drying for my skin, but I do really love the Garnier Micellar Oil Infused Cleansing Water.
The original Garnier Micellar Oil Infused Cleansing Water version has a clear liquid formula, with yellow coloured oil sitting on the surface which you shake together before use. It was most definitely my favourite Garnier Micellar Water they’ve done, but the only downside for me was the insanely strong fragrance.
Using the Garnier Micellar Oil Infused Cleansing Water Delicate feels like you’re smearing perfume all over your face, and I don’t want to be able to smell my micellar water for hours after use. So when I saw the Garnier Micellar Oil Infused Cleansing Water Delicate, I thought it might be the perfect alternative with the same super effective formula, but with a milder fragrance.
“Discover an all-in-one cleanser and waterproof makeup remover that’s specifically formulated for delicate skin &
eyes—suitable even for contact lens wearers. Enjoy that squeaky-clean feeling with no running water or harsh rubbing required.
This oil-infused micellar cleansing water gently removes makeup and impurities in one quick, easy step – giving you smooth, clean and nourished skin.
We’ve combined revolutionary Micellar technology with nourishing oils, to remove even tough makeup and leave skin clean. The best bit? There’s no need to scrub or rinse with this waterproof makeup remover, perfect for dry and delicate skin.” – Garnier
Having tried the original version and the Garnier Micellar Oil Infused Cleansing Water Delicate, the delicate version is much more delicate and has a much milder scent thankfully. It doesn’t compromise on efficacy for having a milder formula either which is good.
This version of the micellar water has more of a fresh fragrance, rather than an overpowering sweet perfume. For £6.99 it’s not bad at all, and it’s even been recognised by the British Skin Foundation so it’s well worth a try if you do have sensitive skin and eyes.
