Do you remember when the Maybelline Instant Anti-Age Eraser Concealer was a product we could only purchase via eBay? It was a product that was raved about on YouTube by American YouTubers years before it launched in the UK, and when it did, the beauty community went crazy. Just like they did when they Maybelline Baby Lips launched in the UK.
Maybelline Instant Anti-Age Eraser Concealer
I first tried the Maybelline Instant Anti-Age Eraser Concealer maybe six years ago, when the lightest shade was fair. It was safe to say fair was not fair at all, and they used to have just three shades. I then discovered the Maybelline Neutralizer Instant Age Rewind Eraser Dark Circle Treatment Concealer which had a pink hue as it was a neutralizer, which worked slightly for my skintone but I’d never really understood the hype as I’d never had a shade that matched my skintone – until now that is.
We’ve come a long way with the drugstore in terms of shade ranges, and whilst there’s definitely room for improvement, brands like Maybelline are continuously introducing more and more shades.
The Maybelline Fit Me Concealer has introduced two super fair shades in the last two years (you can see shade Ivory 05 here and shade 03 Porcelain here) and they recently launched some new shades of the Maybelline Instant Anti-Age Eraser Concealer which was very exciting, and I couldn’t wait to see if there was a shade that’d work for my skintone.
“Discover the iconic, fan favourite concealer – Instant Anti Age Eraser Eye. Maybelline Instant Anti Age Eraser Concealer has coloured pigments that perfect the under eye area, covering flawlessly. A hectic social life or lack of sleep can wreak havoc on the eye area – but say goodbye to dark circles and fine lines with Eraser Eye!“
The palest shade of the Maybelline Instant Anti-Age Eraser Concealer is now 95 Cool Ivory and it’s such an amazing match. It blends perfectly with my skintone, and I don’t have to add any foundation mixer whatsoever.
I can use it straight from the tube which is so unbelievably rare, and I couldn’t be happier. In the swatch photo, it looks like Cool Ivory is a tiny bit too pale for me, but my hands are a tiny bit paler than my face, and it looks like a perfect match on the skin.
If you also have super pale skin, you need to try the Maybelline Instant Anti-Age Eraser Concealer in Cool Ivory as it’s such a great shade for super pale skin, and we just need Maybelline to create foundation shades this pale. In terms of formula, it does a decent job at covering darkness without exacerbating dryness, and doesn’t settle either which is great and it’s only £8.99.
