Superdrug Deep Action Blemish Solution 2% Salicylic Acid

Superdrug Deep Action Blemish Solution 2% Salicylic Acid

When it comes to treating blemishes, I find salicylic acid to be really effective on my skin so when Superdrug launched some salicylic acid based blemished treatments, I wanted to give one to try.

“Deep Action Extreme Blemish Solution has been formulated to to help unclog pores and reduce the appearance of redness and blemishes after two weeks of use. Tested on spot prone and combination skin.“

Superdrug Deep Action Blemish Solution 2% Salicylic Acid

The Superdrug Deep Action Blemish Solution 2% Salicylic Acid is £5.99 and contains 30ml of product in a clear glass bottle, with a stopper to control how much product you dispense.

To use the Superdrug Deep Action Blemish Solution 2% Salicylic Acid, the directions recommend applying twice daily onto cleansed skin, ensuring to stay away from the eye area. You then have to allow the solution to fully absorb before applying any further skincare products.

The product has a very runny, viscous formula which runs out of the bottle quite quickly when tipped upside down. So I have been using a cotton bud in the hole in the stopper and then use the cotton bud to apply directly onto the skin.

It’s really effective if you apply it to spots before they fully erupt, and really helps the blemish to reduce in size but it’s not very effective on active breakouts. For under £6 it’s a decent blemish treatment, and I’d be up for purchasing more products from the Superdrug Deep Action collection.

You can purchase the Superdrug Deep Action Blemish Solution 2% Salicylic Acid right here.
