W7 Socialite Indulgent Multi Textured Pressed Pigment Palette Review Swatches

The Huda Beauty New Nude Palette is my all-time favourite palette, so when I saw that W7 had created a potential ‘dupe’, I knew I had to try it. The W7 Socialite Indulgent Multi Textured Pressed Pigment Palette is only £9.50, whereas the Huda Beauty Palette is £56.

Now here’s something to talk about!

W7’s Socialite is an indulgent, multi-textured pressed pigment palette.

The palette features a range of 18 pressed pigments of nudes that’ll get you blushing! Shades of super soft pinks, plums and coppers that will make you the talk of the town!

The W7 Socialite Indulgent Multi Textured Pressed Pigment Palette contains eighteen shades, just like the original New Nude Palette. This palette also comes with a dual ended eyeshadow brush, which isn’t something that’s included within the Huda Beauty palette.

One side of the brush features a flat, densely packed brush designed for laying down colour, and the other end is a fluffy blending brush. It’s a synthetic brush, and as far as brushes go, the bristles are a nice quality but the first time I used the brush, the ferrule holding the blending brush completely fell off the wooden handle which isn’t great.

The W7 Socialite Indulgent Multi Textured Pressed Pigment Palette really impressed me with the quality. If you looked at these swatches, you’d never know they were from a W7 eyeshadow palette. The first shade on the bottom row is a concealer/base shade which also features in the original Huda Beauty New Nude Palette. The base shade in this palette is very greasy and is the only disappointment in the whole palette.

I bought my W7 Socialite Indulgent Multi Textured Pressed Pigment Palette from Just My Look, where it’s on sale for £3.50 which is amazing compared to the £9.50 price tag on the W7 website. If you were tempted by the Huda Beauty version of the palette, I think this W7 palette would be a great alternative, although the Huda Beauty is still my absolute favourite.
