Feelunique have launched a new sampler service; the Feelunique Beauty Kit, and I knew I had to give it a try after looking at the brands and products they had to offer. Feelunique have offered their Pick & Mix for over a year now, where for £3.95 you can pick five beauty samples, but the new Feelunique Beauty Kt is a lot more fancy in comparison.
Feelunique Beauty Kit July 2020
The Feelunique Pick & Mix is something you can purchase once a month, but it’s not a subscription. You just purchase it whenever you like the look of samples on offer. From time to time, you could strike gold and get really decent sized samples, but they’re generally sachets and tiny tubes.
The Feelunique Beauty Kit is £12.95, plus you have to pay £3.95 shipping, but you get to choose five deluxe samples from a really amazing selection. So the total cost is £16.90, but Feelunique claim that you will receive the £3.95 that you pay for shipping back as a voucher via email which you can redeem against future orders.
In interest of transparency, I haven’t received my £3.95 shipping fee voucher and I’ve chased it up with Feelunique to no avail, so I wanted to let you know there’s a chance you might not receive an email which is disappointing.
It is a brand-new service, so perhaps they have some issues to iron out, but the samples I chose are still a great deal for £16.90 regardless.
What also makes the Feelunique Beauty Kit a little more special, is that in addition to the £3.95 shipping voucher refund, you get your five deluxe samples in the cutest Feelunique branded, zip-up makeup bag. I am so impressed with the bag.
It’s so much nicer than I thought it would be, and it’s perfect for throwing in my handbag with my makeup essentials and I love that you can see what’s inside the pouch as it’s clear.
The first sample I chose as part of my Feelunique Beauty Kit for July was the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder in the shade Fair, in a 0.8g miniature size. I couldn’t believe these mini powders were included within the selection.
I literally posted my rave review on this very powder at the start of July, so I was very excited to get my hands on an adorable mini size which is ideal for my makeup bag for on-the-go touch ups. You don’t have to worry about damaging your full size pricey powder, and it’s even packaged to resemble the full size which is so cute.
My next Feelunique Beauty Kit pick was the Clinique Moisture Surge Hydrating Supercharged Concentrate in a 15ml size which I thought was a really generous size. I rave about the Clinique Moisture Surge range to anyone that’ll listen, and this is one of the few products within the range I was yet to try, and I have fallen in love with it already – it’s amazing, and I absolutely need the full size.
There are quite a few Clarins products within the Beauty Kit range, so I ended up choosing two. First I chose the Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream in a 30ml size, which blew my mind. Some brands offer a 30ml as a full size, so to get a luxury hand cream as one of the five samples is fantastic.
I already know I love this hand cream, so it was a given it would be one of my picks, and I’m so happy to have it in my collection once more.
The next of my Clarins picks from the Feelunique Beauty Kit July 2020 selection is the Clarins SOS Comfort Nourishing Balm Mask in a 15ml size. I’ve never tried this product before, but any nourishing face masks pique my interest and the bright yellow tube kinda appealed to me.
Clarins skincare is usually quite muted in terms of packaging, so it’s nice to see something so bright and vibrant in their range. I haven’t tried it out yet, but it sounds lovely.
The last of my five picks for the Feelunique Beauty Kit is this little beauty from Givenchy. It’s the Givenchy Le Rose Perfecto Lipstick in the shade Fearless Pink in a 1.2g size. This is a super bright pink lipstick, and is brighter than I thought it would be but it’s still very pretty and it’s crazy Givenchy lipstick samples are included within the selection.
