When it comes to makeup setting sprays, I just love trying new ones. I feel like I’m on some sort of mission to find the perfect setting spray.. if it even exists? I have read a few reviews on the L’Oreal Shake & Glow Luminous Setting Spray, and I decided to give it a try as one of my favourite drugstore setting sprays is the L’Oreal Infaillible Fixing Mist Setting Spray.
L’Oreal Shake & Glow Luminous Setting Spray
“Get a healthy, glowing complexion in an instant with this luminous setting spray. Our new skin-loving formula contains Coconut water and Glycerine for long lasting hydration and an instant cooling sensation. Infused with Vitamin E to help protect, care and condition skin.
Prime your skin and improve your makeup wear throughout the day with our skin loving formula for an all-day fresh radiant glow. Prime, set and refresh- now you are ready to glow.“
The L’Oreal Shake & Glow Luminous Setting Spray is £9.99, but I never buy L’Oreal products unless I can find a 3 for 2 deal as their prices are so much higher than the likes of Rimmel, Maybelline or Revolution. This fixing mist contains 100ml and is packaged within a pearlised pastel pink bottle.
I try and shake all of my setting sprays before use as I know they can separate within the bottle, but it’s so easy to forget. If you do end up forgetting to shake the L’Oreal Shake & Glow Luminous Setting Spray, the white shimmer spots are easy to blend into the skin with a few dabs of a beauty sponge.
The L’Oreal Shake & Glow Luminous Setting Spray has a lovely coconut scent, and the pump emits the finest of mists over makeup which I love. It really does instantly add a gorgeous glow to the skin, and makes my skin look radiant and dewy. I know it’s marketed as being a fixing mist, but I can’t say I notice an improvement in the longevity of my makeup.
So if you need your setting spray to set your makeup, I don’t think you’d love this particular spray as it’s definitely more of a glow inducer than it is a makeup prolonger. It feels lovely, smells lovely and makes my skin look lovely, but I just wish it had the setting spray effects of the Infallible Fixing Mist, as that setting spray is amazing.
