OGX Coconut Miracle Oil Collection

If you love the OGX haircare collections, but feel like your hair needs something a little more intensive, the OGX Coconut Miracle Oil Collection is the perfect solution. I have two products from the OGX Coconut Miracle Oil Collection which I’ve been testing over the last few weeks, so keep on reading to read my thoughts…

OGX Coconut Miracle Oil Collection

OGX Coconut Miracle Oil Collection

The OGX Coconut Miracle Oil Collection includes a shampoo, conditioner and hair mask, as well as some styling products. Normally OGX products launch in the US first, and we have to wait for a few months for them to launch in the UK.

However, we can now get our hands on this new collection in Boots where the products are price between £7.49 and £8.99, but OGX products are very often found on special offer.

OGX Coconut Miracle Oil Collection

The first of the two products from the OGX Coconut Miracle Oil Collection I’ve been trying is the OGX Coconut Miracle Oil Air Dry Cream 177ml £7.49. This particular product is for those that have dreamt about ditching the hair dryer!

Described as being a miracle cream that helps your hair release its own natural movement whilst reducing frizz, controlling fly-aways and adding silky smoothness and shine. It’s said to be the perfect anti-dote to blow-dry boredom, with a tropical blend that gives flexible gentle control, future proof protection, and natural-looking hassle-free hold, style and shine.

It’s super easy to use, you just a small amount to palm, rub hands together and apply evenly to damp (towel dried) hair, working through to ends. Then let hair air-dry naturally. The cream has the most dreamy scent with a blend of Coconut Oil, Vanilla Bean and essence of Tiare flower.

This Air Dry Cream has the consistency of a conditioner, so I’d recommend going sparingly, and it smells like a vanilla and coconut milkshake. It’s the nicest smelling product I’ve ever tried from OGX and all of their products smell amazing. I’ve found this particular product to be so handy during the summer so far, as it means I can let my hair air-dry without my hair turning into a mountain of uncontrollable frizz.

OGX Coconut Miracle Oil Collection

The second product within the OGX Coconut Miracle Oil Collection is the OGX Coconut Miracle Oil Hair Mask 168g £7.99, and I’m really surprised by how small the pot is for a hair mask. I’ve never seen such a small size, and if you have long hair like mine, this really doesn’t last long. I only had five applications but if you have less hair, it would stretch further.

This Tahitian inspired extra strength hair mask features an ultra rich blend of coconut oil, vanilla bean extract and essence of Tiaré, to help transform thick, coarse hair into hair that feels silky smooth and full of bounce and shine.

Described as being a damage remedy mask for dry, damaged and chemically treated hair, and helps to calm frizz and smooth flyaways. I don’t have damaged or chemically treated hair, but I love a deep conditioning mask that makes my hair feel silky smooth, and this mask does a great job.

It leaves my hair feeling super soft, silky and smelling so, so lovely. If you do have damaged hair, I think you’d love how nourishing the formula is as it really does transform the texture of the hair in just 3-5 minutes. I just wish they did a larger tub for those of us with longer hair.
