The Soap and Glory Rich & Foamous Body Wash is my all time favourite body wash above any other body wash, and I try a lot of new body washes so that’s a big statement to make. I was writing a post recently, and was trying to link to my review of the Soap and Glory Rich & Foamous Body Wash within the post, but I had the realisation that I had never actually reviewed the product individually.
Soap and Glory Rich & Foamous Body Wash
I have mentioned my love for the Soap and Glory Rich & Foamous Body Wash many times in previous posts, but usually when it’s featured as part of one of the Soap & Glory gift offerings. I can’t believe that I’ve nearly been blogging for eight years, and I’ve never dedicated a whole post to my holy grail shower gel, so I obviously had to rectify that.
I love all of the Soap & Glory Body Washes as they all smell divine, although Orangeasm is my least favourite from their range. They’re all £6.50 and contain 500ml which is a massive amount of product. The only downside is they’ve removed the pump dispenser from the bottle this year which is gutting.
I loved the pump, it’s so much easier to use in a shower with wet hands, and I’ve broken my foot when I dropped a Philosophy Shower Gel on it, so you can tell I’m pretty clumsy with chunky shower gel bottles. I imagine normal people don’t have this ‘issue’ but I wish they sold the pumps individually, so we could purchase them. I guess it was removed because of the excess plastic maybe?
So what is it that makes the Soap and Glory Rich & Foamous Body Wash so special? It’s the scent. It features the Smoothie Star fragrance which is described as being a ‘pistachio, almond and sweet vanilla fragrance’. It smells like cakes, and the scent lingers for ages. I love sweet scents anyway, but the Soap and Glory Rich & Foamous Body Wash then layered with the Smoothie Star Body Cream is the most amazing scent sensation.
It’s a shower cream which can even be used in the bath as a bath cream. I love using it as a shower cream on a shower puff. I don’t know why, but when used with a shower puff, it transforms into a lovely rich, silky lather that cleanses the skin so nicely. I just can’t say enough good things about this body wash, it’s so so good and the 500ml size lasts forever.
