Aldi No 3 Pomegranate Luxury Hand & Body Wash

I featured an Aldi beauty haul a few weeks ago, where I placed an order online (who knew Aldi had a website you could buy from?) for some beauty products, and the Aldi No 3 Pomegranate Luxury Hand & Body Wash is just one of the products I bought.

Aldi has a whole Hotel Collection with candles, reed diffusers, hand creams and hand/body washes. They’re crazy popular, and only a couple of them are available on the Aldi website. I bought the candle and reed diffuser in the Luxury Oud & Bergamot scent, but I chose the Aldi No 3 Pomegranate Luxury Hand & Body Wash as it has been hyped as being a Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir dupe.

“Featuring a wonderfully delicious scent, this Pomegranate Body Wash will leave you feeling fabulous from head to toe. A luxurious addition to your bathroom, the soft and silky texture is a guaranteed way to make your skin feel nourished after a long relaxing shower.“

The Aldi No 3 Pomegranate Luxury Hand & Body Wash is packaged within a matte plastic bottle, with a black pump dispenser and the packaging really is similar to the Jo Malone hand wash packaging.

The shape of the bottle is the same, with similar labelling except the Jo Malone Hand Wash bottles have stripes on them, and whilst the Aldi version is obviously not even half as luxurious, the Aldi version is £2.49 for 250ml, whereas the Jo Malone version is £32 – yes really.

The No 3 Pomegranate fragrance is very strong, and you can smell it on your hands for hours afterwards so if you don’t like strong scents, these hand washes aren’t going to be for you. They make the bathroom smell amazing after using them too.

In terms of the whole hand wash and body wash claims, the Aldi No 3 Pomegranate Luxury Hand & Body Wash works extremely well as a hand wash, but in my opinion, not so much as a body wash.

It doesn’t lather very well, which is fine for the hands, but it doesn’t feel like it cleanses the skin as a body wash, so I just keep it as a hand wash, and I’ve already purchased a backup, and the Freesia & Pear scent from the rnage too.
