Garnier Micellar Milky Cleansing Water Review

I’m a big fan of micellar waters, and whilst some might eye roll them as everyone *should* be using proper cleansers, I love the convenience of them, and they’re perfect for removing your makeup before you use a cleanser. The Garnier Micellar Milky Cleansing Water is one of the more recent versions of their Micellar Water, and I’ve tried all of their other versions they’ve launched thus far.

Garnier Micellar Milky Cleansing Water

My favourite Garnier micellar water has to be the Garnier Oil Infused Micellar Water, as it’s amazingly effective at removing makeup, especially stubborn mascara and liquid eyeliner. The Garnier Micellar Milky Cleansing Water is £6.99 and is available in a large 400ml size. I don’t believe it’s available in the 100ml mini size Garnier do in their original formula, but it’d be good if they did as it’s nice to try mini sizes before purchasing the full size incase you don’t like it.

Garnier Micellar Milky Cleansing Water Review

“For the 1st time, Garnier combines the efficacy & freshness of micellar cleansing water with a milky texture to hydrate and comfort. Micellar Milky Cleansing Water is an easy way to remove make-up, cleanse, hydrate and comfort skin, in one step, without rinsing. Recognised by the British Skin Foundation.

Garnier Micellar technology is formulated in an all-in-one cleanser suitable for even sensitive skin. The micelles (cleansing agents) capture impurities like a magnet & lift away dirt from the skin, while its lightweight texture hydrates and comforts, reducing the feeling of tightness, with no greasy or sticky finish.“

Garnier Micellar Milky Cleansing Water Review

I did wonder whether the Garnier Micellar Milky Cleansing Water would be similar to the Pixi Milky Tonic, and I do think they’re a little similar. I find the Pixi Milky Tonic to be a little more hydrating, but the Pixi tonic isn’t designed to remove makeup as it’s just a toner, but if you do enjoy the Garnier Milky Cleansing Water, you might like the Pixi Milky Tonic, and likewise, if you like the Pixi Milky Tonic, you might enjoy the Garnier Milky Cleansing Water.

It has a more hydrating formula compared to the ordinary Garnier Sensitive Micellar Water, but it performs the same in that it effectively removes your makeup. I think I prefer both the Garnier Oil Infused Micellar Water and the Garnier Delicate Oil Infused Micellar Water more than the Garnier Micellar Milky Cleansing Water, but I’m glad I gave it a try.

You can find the Garnier Micellar Milky Cleansing Water right here.
