3 Easy Ways To Revamp A Room

I love scrolling through Pinterest for inspiration on almost anything, but especially home decor. I love pinning images on my multiple home inspired Pinterest boards ready for when we decorate. With lockdown, many of us have been focusing on our homes, and trying to make them the best they can be, especially as we’re all spending considerably more time at home. You don’t have to spend a fortune to revamp your rooms, so I wanted to share 3 easy ways to revamp a room….

3 Easy Ways To Revamp A Room

Potentially one of the easiest ways to revamp a room is the installing of new blinds. New blinds will totally transform the room, and I personally love the look of wooden blinds. I like that there’s so many different colours and textures of wood available, and it’ll give your room such a chic makeover when you fit new wood blinds in the windows.

If you’re on a budget but your sofa is looking a little tired, there’s a lot of really great tutorials online showing you how to reupholster your sofa whilst on a budget. You don’t even need to be a textiles expert in order to do it, and it will give your sofa a whole new lease of life especially if it’s looking a little tired or threadbare.

Experts do recommend practising upholstering on smaller projects first, before taking on a large project like the sofa. You’ll need supplies such as fabric, a glue gun, staples, needle nose pliers and upholstery twist pins, and it’s so much cheaper than purchasing a brand a new sofa entirely.

The last suggestion of my 3 easy ways to revamp a room is ridiculously easy, but you’d be surprised by how transformative it can be, and it’s introducing plants. If you scroll through Pinterest looking at home decor inspiration, you’ll see plants everywhere, and they’ve become even more popular the last year or so.

Plants can give life to a room – literally, and depending on the plant species you choose, some are super easy to care for. Plus studies have also proven that having indoor plants can improve concentration and productivity (by up to 15 percent), they can reduce stress levels and boost your mood too – which is a bonus!

I hope you found these 3 easy ways to revamp a room helpful, and they’ve inspired you to revamp a room this winter!
