Aldi Lacura Highlighter Stick Review / Swatches

I featured the Aldi Lacura Highlighter Stick as part of my Aldi Beauty Haul which I shared back in August, with all of the items I’d ordered from their website. I had no idea you could even order from their website, but they have a pretty decent selection of their products, and they’re always adding new products.

A lot of the Aldi beauty products are trying to imitate higher end products, but I’m not entirely sure what the Aldi Lacura Highlighter Stick could be trying to imitate. Priced at £2.99, the Aldi Lacura Highlighter Stick is amazingly affordable, and it contains 9.5 grams of product, so you’re getting a decent amount of product for you money.

There’s only one shade of the stick available, so I was worried it would be too dark for my skintone but the reviews were very complimentary, so I had to give it a try. This highlighter stick is packaged within a white, plastic twist-up stick with a clear lid.

Now you can achieve a more natural look with this Lacura Highlighter Stick. This creamy highlighter is perfect for creating that natural dewy glow, without all the glitter of other highlighters. Sweep onto areas to define them and make your best features pop.

The Aldi Lacura Highlighter Stick has a clear gel core, with a shimmery cream on the outside but when swatched and applied to the skin it doesn’t impart any colour at all. It’s almost like it’s a clear highlighter stick, because the shimmery champagne blends into nothing, but the effect is so beautiful on the skin. The luminous finish and clear ‘colour’ really reminds of the RMS Living Luminizer Highlighter, and I can’t believe it’s only £2.99.
