I raved about the Aldi No 10 Oud & Bergamot Candle on my blog back in September, and I purchased the Aldi No 10 Oud & Bergamot Reed Diffuser at the same time as part of my Aldi beauty haul. The Aldi No 10 Oud & Bergamot Candle is just £3.99, and the Aldi No 10 Oud & Bergamot Reed Diffuser is also just £3.99.
Aldi No 10 Oud & Bergamot Reed Diffuser
“Transform any space within your home with this lovely Oud & Bergamot Reed Diffuser. Coming in a beautifully presented 100ml glass diffuser bottle with a polished metal lid, this gorgeously scented addition to your home will have an instant impact and immediately change the ambience.“
Just like the candle, the Aldi No 10 Oud & Bergamot Reed Diffuser is part of the Aldi Hotel Collection of luxurious home fragrance products. Aldi have done Hotel Collection products before, and has done different coloured packaging for these candles and reed diffusers. They’ve done a rainbow version of Oud & Bergamot but I’ll about the matte, charcoal glass effect of the candle / reed diffuser as it contrasts beautifully against the metal lid.
The candle really did wow me, but the Aldi No 10 Oud & Bergamot Reed Diffuser has been a little disappointing in comparison unfortunately. The candle has an amazing scent throw, and is a really high quality candle.
This reed diffuser smells incredible, but you can’t smell the fragrance unless you’re holding the sticks. Even with turning the sticks over regularly, and reducing the number of sticks, it hasn’t made any difference, and it’s such a shame as the scent is so, so lovely.
I’ve tried keeping the reed diffuser in a smaller room, to see if that improves the fragrance but it just doesn’t project into any room. It’s very aesthetically pleasing, but a reed diffuser which doesn’t give off any scent is a little pointless, so whilst I love and wholeheartedly recommend the candle, the reed diffusers would be an easy skip for me going forward.
