When it comes to skincare, I love using masks but I always begrudge paying for single use sheet masks as they’re not the best value compared to a jar or tube of face mask that gives you multiple applications. I got the 111Skin Sub Zero De-Puffing Energy Facial Mask in a recent Cult Beauty gift with purchase deal, and couldn’t believe it was £20 to purchase for the one mask. They also sell the masks in a set of five for £85, but for single use face masks, they are very pricey.

Our latest hydrogel formula is designed to trigger an acceleration in circulatory responses to reduce dullness, energise and de-puff tired looking skin. Drainage-stimulating and cooling ingredients give the appearance of toned, treated and glowing skin after use.

Visually speaking, the 111Skin Sub Zero De-Puffing Energy Facial Mask makes you look like an extra from Avatar as it’s bright blue, with a jelly tissue like consistency. The mask is in two pieces, with one half covering your jaw and the other half covers the rest of your face joining up under the nose.

It feels very nice on the skin, and it does genuinely help de-puff the skin which I didn’t expect. I’m not sure I’d pay £20 for a one off mask from any brand, but if 111Skin did a formula similar to this in a jar or tube, I’d be really tempted, but it was definitely a nice treat.
