Huda Beauty Kiss Gift Set

Huda Beauty has lots of cute gift sets within their Christmas collection, and I bought the Huda Beauty Kiss Gift Set and the Mini Matte & Metal Melted Shadows Set as they both looked really cute, and were great value too.

Earlier this year, Huda Beauty launched their Silk Balm Hydra Plumping Lip Balm (reviewed right here), and it’s one of my favourite lip balms, so when I saw the Huda Beauty Kiss Gift Set, with two brand new shades, I had to give it a try.

The Huda Beauty Kiss Gift Set is £13 on the Huda Beauty website, and £16 from Feelunique. It is packaged within a pretty pastel pink and white cardboard star shaped tree ornament, with a pink ribbon so you can tie it to a branch on your Christmas tree.

Inside the Huda Beauty Kiss Gift Set, there are two miniature 1.8ml tubes of the Huda Beauty Silk Balm Lip Balm in the shades Sugar and Spice. The tubes have the same iridescent pink shift that the full sized version of the balm has, and they also have the same rounded, doefoot applicator too.

Both shades of the balm are very sheer, just like the original, and they impart a pretty shimmer and shine to the lips, rather than adding colour. I have swatched both shades at intensity, so you can see them, but they’re very sheer and muted.

Sugar is the lightest shade in the Huda Beauty Kiss Gift Set, and is described as being a delicate sweet pink and gold pearl. Whereas Spice is described as being a shifting copper-gold and fire-pink pearl.

They are so subtle, but perfect for when you want something on your lips, without having to worry about fading or touching up throughout the day. I love the formula of the Huda Beauty Silk Balm, so I hope these two shades are a hint that there are more permanent shades on the way…
