We are all wearing face masks right now, which isn’t conducive for wearing lipstick, but is obviously essential for our health. The Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Matte Long Wear Lipsticks are one of the longest wearing matte liquid lipstick formulas I’ve tried.
Whilst I don’t think any of us need to be wearing any lip products at all under our face masks, as being safe is much more important, but if you are missing wearing a mood-boosting lip colour, the Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Matte Long Wear Lipsticks are a great option.
Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Matte Long Wear Lipsticks
I already have four shades of the Melted Matte Liquified Matte Long Wear Lipstick formula, and already know how comfortable and pigmented they are. I featured the Gingerbread Man shade already on my blog, which was part of the Too Faced Christmas Collection for 2020.
The Melted Matte Liquid Lipsticks are described as being a long wearing innovative ultra-matte lipstick with the staying power of a lip stain and the intense colour of a liquid lipstick. The formula is said to be infused with Volulip for a no-sting plumping and smoothing effect, and features avocado oil, vitamin E and hyaluronic filling spheres to moisturise and smooth the lips.
Each of the lipsticks have an angled, flocked doefoot applicator with a pointed tip for even, precise application. There are currently 29 shades available, and they’re always adding new shades to the range. The three newest shade additions to my collection of the Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Matte Long Wear Lipsticks are; Makin’ Moves, Stay The Night and Prissy.
Makin’ Moves is a brown toned nude, Stay The Night is a bright fuchsia pink and Prissy is a tomato red shade. The 29 shades include everything you could possibly want from nudes, browns, pinks, reds, berries and a couple of fun shades like a green and violet too.
The lipsticks have a nice thin formula which layers well for full opacity and once they’ve dried down they last all day until you remove them. They are even hard to remove at the end of the day unless you use an oil-based makeup remover. So if you really wanted to wear a lipstick underneath your face mask, the Too Faced Melted Matte Liquified Matte Long Wear Lipsticks would be a good option, or instead you could opt for the lovely Too Faced Hangover Lip Balm for a dose of hydration too.
