Yes To Tomatoes Triple Threat Blemish Treatment Kit
Everyone used to rave about the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion, and describing it as being a miracle worker for clearing up blemishes but I never saw the benefits, and it used to really sting my skin. I recently came across the Yes To Tomatoes Triple Threat Blemish Treatment Kit whilst looking at blemish treatments, after being disappointed by the Vichy Normaderm SOS Sulphur Anti-Spot Paste.

I’d not seen any reviews of the Yes To Tomatoes Triple Threat Blemish Treatment Kit, so I honestly had no idea if it was any good. I have to be honest, I haven’t loved Yes To as a brand. The products I’ve tried from the brand have all been mediocre at best, and their products are quite pricey too. The Yes To Tomatoes Triple Threat Blemish Treatment Kit is £9.99, but I got mine for half price, when Feelunique had a sale on their skincare products, and I figured it was worth a try for £5.
“Discover Yes To Tomatoes Maximum Strength Blemish Kit with Charcoal, Sulfur and Witch Hazel, a zit zapping trifecta that helps knock out breakouts in a flash with just a few dips and dabs with our charcoal cotton swabs (20 included in each kit)!
This Triple-Threat Acne Treatment knocks out blemish-causing bacteria for clearer skin. Comes in a convenient carrying case so you can zap zits any place, any time. Allow the formula to work its magic overnight for the most effective treatment!“
The Yes To Tomatoes Triple Threat Blemish Treatment Kit comes with a clear plastic case which is really unnecessary. It’s designed to hold the skincare product, as well as some charcoal cotton swabs but you don’t need the case.
It’s just a waste of plastic, and the bottle of the product alone would suffice. Sure it’s nice there are some cotton swabs included, but they don’t perform any better than standard cotton buds. It’d be better to forget about the case entirely, as well as the cotton swabs, and lower the price instead.
Just like the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion, you mustn’t shake the bottle, and you simply insert a cotton bud into the liquid and to the base of the bottom where the sediment has settled. The grey cream like substance is thick at the bottom, and you press the cotton swab onto your breakouts and blemishes, and leave the product to work overnight.
The Mario Badescu Drying Lotion is bright pink, whereas the Yes To Tomatoes Triple Threat Blemish Treatment Kit is a light grey. It still looks funny on the skin, as you end up with grey ‘spots’ wherever you’ve dabbed the swab. It doesn’t sting whatsoever, nor does it cause any irritation or discomfort which is amazing.
It’s so much more gentle on the skin, but amazingly, it’s actually more effective which I didn’t expect. I assumed that because it didn’t cause any irritation or burning, it would be too mild to make a difference. There are occasions when I’ve applied the product to brand new blemishes beginning to surface, and the Yes To Tomatoes Triple Threat Blemish Treatment Kit has stopped the blemish in its tracks and it’s completely disappeared.
I’m so impressed with this product, and it doesn’t dry the skin out either. I hate blemish treatments which are so harsh on the skin, that they end up leaving the skin flaky and dry, which is then hard to conceal with concealer and foundation. The black charcoal cotton swabs are no different than your standard cotton buds, so whilst it’s good they’re included as part of a set, you absolutely don’t need them in order to enjoy the product.
