I loved so many of the Huda Beauty Christmas sets this year, and I’ve already featured the super cute Kiss Set. The Huda Beauty Mini Matte & Melted Shadows set is another I bought, and at £20, it’s quite affordable too.
Huda Beauty Mini Matte & Melted Shadows
“A super cute edit of Huda Beauty’s eye staple, Melted Shadows that offer 2 rich and velvety matte shades and an over-the-top metallic shade that stack for the person on the go!
This A-list edit will make a desirable addition to any beauty collection. Each set features, three of Huda’s cult shades, including the perfect sunkissed pink and rose champagne shimmer, alongside a toasty brown, praline and burnished bronze – these universally-flattering colors will see you through the day, to the evening.“
Huda Beauty launched their Matte & Melted Liquid Eyeshadows over a year ago, and they are a duo stick with a shimmer shade on one end and a matte shade on the other.
The Huda Beauty Mini Matte & Melted Shadows Set is available in two different shade variations; Warm Browns and Soft Pinks, and I chose the Warm Brows stack as I already owned a couple of the shades in the Soft Pinks stack.
The Huda Beauty Mini Matte & Melted Shadows is £20 and includes three miniature tubes of the Matte & Melted formula. In the Warm Browns stack there’s two matte shades and one shimmery shade. Each of the two matte shades have a doefoot applicator, whereas the shimmer shade has a brush applicator.
Included in the Warm Browns stack there are the following three shades;
- Drop Top – Glowing molten bronze metallic
- Double Pump Latte – Golden tan matte
- Cinnamon Toast – Spicy brown matte
I have to admit, the shades of the Warm Browns stack are a lot deeper than the stock images on the Huda Beauty website. The two matte shades are both dark, and like the name suggests, very warm toned. I think they might be a little too dark in tone for my skintone as they look a little garish on my super pale skin.
I love the look of the shimmer shade, and I have zero complaints about the formula. They apply easily, layer well, blend well and last very well too, but it’s just personal preference, and I don’t think Cinnamon Toast and Double Pump Latte suit me unfortunately.
