Natasha Denona Scarab Chromium Liquid Eyeshadow Review / Swatches

Natasha Denona Scarab Chromium Liquid Eyeshadow Review Swatches

I’m obsessed with multi-chromes right now, so when Natasha Denona launched a collection of five multi-chrome liquid eyeshadows, I had to try them. I purchased the Natasha Denona Scarab Chromium Liquid Eyeshadow alongside the Infra Nude shade (which I reviewed right here), and I was so wowed by them both, I went on to purchase the other three shades as they genuinely are that amazing.

I am such a big Natasha Denona eyeshadow palette fan, so I knew I’d enjoy her liquid eyeshadows, and I was right. They’re £26 each, but they’re truly innovative and unlike any powder or liquid eyeshadow you can purchase from drugstore and highend beauty brands. Indie makeup brands have been creating multichrome products for some time now, but this is the first time that multichromes have become more mainstream, and it’s super exciting.

Natasha Denona describes the Chromium Eyeshadows as the following;

The most SHOW-STOPPING and AWE-INSPIRING liquid eyeshadows! Provides a water-rich, jelly texture with a fresh hydrating feel, while leaving an unparalleled multi-chrome finish.

The multi-dimensional color experience is given by the innovative silica-based pearlescent pigments with color travel properties, i.e. colour-changing at different angles due to the light reflection.

I have got two lots of swatch photos to show you of the Natasha Denona Scarab Chromium Liquid Eyeshadow, with the image above and the image below. It’s so hard to photograph multichrome eyeshadows as they have at least three different colour shifts, so I took photos in different lighting to try and get the different shifts to show up.

Natasha Denona describe the Natasha Denona Scarab Chromium Liquid Eyeshadow as being a green, gold and blue. I don’t catch blue anywhere when wearing this shade, but I get green, gold and bronze which hopefully I’ve shown in these swatches. It’s such a beautiful shade, and just like Infra Nude, is completely mesmerising on the lids. All five shades are amazing, but Scarab is definitely one of my favourites from the five shades.
