Soap & Glory Call of Fruity Hand Food Hand Cream

Soap & Glory Call of Fruity Hand Food Hand Cream

The Soap & Glory Hand Food Hand Cream is easily one of my favourite hand creams, and I’ve repurchased it an insane amount of times over the years. The Soap & Glory Call of Fruity Hand Food Hand Cream was launched relatively recently, as a new scented version of their popular Hand Food hand cream, and I had to try it as I love the original, and I love the Call of Fruity scent too.

A nourishing blend, with marshmallow ‘extract macadamia oil and shea butter, to hydrate, soften and moisturise for hands on hydration!”

The Soap & Glory Call of Fruity Hand Food Hand Cream is £6 and contains 125ml of product in a bright pink plastic tube. Soap & Glory don’t really promote what the Call of Fruity fragrance is.

I believe it’s a mix of mango, mandarin and maybe watermelon but I don’t know for 100%. It’s a very sweet, fruity and exotic scent and it’s a lovely fragrance, especially over the summer.

Soap & Glory Call of Fruity Hand Food Hand Cream

I have to admit, I’m really disappointed with the Soap & Glory Call of Fruity Hand Food Hand Cream. The original Hand Food hand cream is lovely and nourishing, whilst not being at all greasy. The Call of Fruity version is the complete opposite. It’s so greasy and it leaves my hands looking shiny after massaging it in, as there’s a layer of grease on the hands.

I don’t even find the Call of Fruity hand cream to be nourishing either, so it feels a little pointless. Whenever I use it, I’m left wanting to wash my hands as it is so greasy and it’s just really disappointing when the original version is so lovely. I will stick to the original version going forward, and I won’t even finish this tube as I don’t find it pleasant to use – I hate greasy hand creams.
