Aldi Lacura Caviar Night Cream Review
Aldi Lacura Caviar Night Cream
I have done an annual beauty favourites post on my blog for the last four years, but I didn’t one for 2020 as I couldn’t decide on my favourite 2020 discoveries. However, one of my favourite discoveries during 2020 was the Aldi beauty range.
I’ve always heard amazing things about Aldi beauty products, but I’d never really tried the range until last year, after I discovered you could purchase Aldi products via their website. I did feature a few hauls last year, and the Aldi Lacura Caviar Night Cream was one of the products I purchased in one of the hauls.
The Aldi Lacura Caviar Night Cream is said to be a dupe for the La Prairie Caviar Luxe Cream Premier. That product, believe it or not is £407, and I’m not even joking. The Aldi Lacura Caviar Night Cream is £6.99. They obviously aren’t going to compare in terms of ingredients quality, but if you can find a super luxurious face cream whilst getting your weekly groceries, it’s definitely an exciting purchase.
“The Aldi Lacura Caviar Illumination Night Cream will be the only thing working while you sleep. A deeply intensive moisturiser will leave you with silky smooth and supple skin come morning.”
The Aldi Lacura Caviar Night Cream is housed within a weighty, blue glass jar with a silver metallic lid. I’ve never tried the La Prairie version, so I cannot draw direct comparisons, however for £6.99 I can absolutely recommend this moisturiser as it feels incredible on the skin.
It has a luxe skincare scent, has a very rich nourishing formula which works well as a night cream, but also as an overnight face mask too. It’s deeply hydrating, and leaves my skin feeling amazing in the morning.
I can’t quite believe it’s under £7, as the packaging alone makes you feel quite fancy, but it’s better quality than anything you’ll find in Boots or Superdrug for under £10 which is a very bold claim I know. The Aldi Lacura Caviar Night Cream has impressed me so much, I’ve since ordered the Aldi Lacura Illumination Day Cream too, to see how they compare, and I’ll be sure to review that one too, very soon.
You can find the Aldi Lacura Caviar Night Cream right here.
