The Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation Perfecting Moisturizer is a product I first tried back in 2015 in the Ole Henriksen Three Little Wonders Mini Gift Set, when the brand was first available in the UK. In 2017, the brand left the UK market, but thankfully they returned in 2019 and the brand has become super popular within the UK with their effective, potent skincare formulas.
Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation Perfecting Moisturizer
Boots is the UK stockist of the Ole Henriksen products, and the Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation Perfecting Moisturizer is £36 and contains 50ml of product within a bright blue coloured plastic jar. This moisturiser is one of the brand’s top selling products, and it boasts of some pretty bold claims too.
“Transform the way you think about your moisturizer, transform your skin. OLEHENRIKSEN Sheer Transformation Perfecting Moisturizer delivers weightless hydration and luminous perfection. With its whipped, silky texture, this bestselling oil-free moisturizer imparts essential moisture to the skin, even as it delivers radiance and helps improves the appearance of dark spots and discoloration.
This antioxidant moisturizer is formulated with multi-fruit acids, licorice and pea extracts to help gently refine uneven skin tone and texture. This silky, multitasking moisturizer is also the perfect prep step for makeup: It instantly smoothes skin texture and brightens, for flawless foundation application.“
In a nutshell, the Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation Perfecting Moisturizer is designed to hydrate skin, help even out skin tone, smooths skin texture, whilst also helping to improve the look of dark spots and discolouration. It offers multiple benefits, and is recommended to be used both AM and PM on the face and neck with a gentle massage in an upward, circular motion.
It’s easy to see why the Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation Perfecting Moisturizer is the brand’s number one bestselling moisturiser. It has a rich formula which absorbs nicely into the skin, layering well under makeup. I like that whilst it offers a nice hydration boost, and it feels very rich, it doesn’t leave the skin looking or feeling greasy like some richer moisturisers can. I like the subtle tingle you get as you massage it into the skin, as you can almost feel it ‘working’ to retexturise the skin, and it makes my skin glow too.
