Quick and Easy Skincare Practices for Busy People

Quick Fix Beauty Products

There are some simple things you can do to establish a skincare routine, or mix it up if you already have one. Facemasks, for example, are one of the simplest skincare boosters that will help to boost beautiful skin.

All it takes is 10-15 minutes of free time to get happy skin. There are also a huge range of masks to suit all types of skin, budgets, and those which target specific ‘problem’ areas. Cleanse and exfoliate your face beforehand to help the face mask to penetrate the skin to achieve ultimate results. Serums and under eye creams are a simple addition to your skincare routine. Relax with chamomile

If something more natural is what you’re after, there are plenty of natural ways to enhance your skincare routine. For example- the healing, anti inflammatory power of chamomile.

The floral tasting tea can be made into ice cubes for a refreshing boost to your skin in the morning. Simply place one of your chamomile ice cubes into a hessian bag and rub on your face in the morning prior to moisturizing. If a DIY project is not on the agenda, there are a range of soaps and lotions available that will have similar effects.

Homemade Scrubs

You don’t have to set foot into a spa or salon to experience the great results of a body scrub. Especially during lockdown when they are closed.

There are a number of ingredients hanging around in the home that can be used to make an all natural body scrub that will leave your skin feeling incredible (and, at a fraction of the cost of a treatment at the spa- what’s not to love?)

Make them from naturally moisturising or exfoliating ingredients such as- coconut or olive oil, coffee grounds, sea salt, oatmeal– and for an extra boost, banana and avocado. Apply to the body once or twice per week before a bath or shower to get glowing skin with limited extra costs and the knowledge of exactly what you’re putting into your body.

Chug It Down

Water is one of the most important aspects of a good beauty routine. It keeps you hydrated, therefore helping to aid beautiful skin. Water also helps to aid digestion. Drink at least 8 glasses per day, and you’re on the right tracks. Even better- it takes a few seconds to drink water, and is free from a tap.

Even the busiest people need to take time for themselves once in a while. These simple tips will have you feeling your best in no time.
