Real Techniques Easy As 123 Shadow Duo

Real Techniques are often launching new collections to their brush range, and the Real Techniques Easy As 123 Shadow Duo is one of the sets available in the new Real Techniques Easy As 123 collection. Real Techniques have a great range of brushes, with more luxe brushes within their Bold Metals collection.

Real Techniques Easy As 123 Shadow Duo

The Real Techniques Easy As 123 Shadow Duo is £7.99 and includes two eyeshadow brushes. In addition to this duo set, there’s also three full sized face brushes to choose from too; Easy as 123 Foundation, Easy as 123 Blush and Easy as 123 Highlight.

All of the brushes have grey coloured plastic handles, and blush pink coloured bristles. Normally, the Real Techniques brushes have metal ferrules and feel quite weighty, so I was surprised by how lightweight these brushes are.

The plastic handles feel very light and cheap in the hand, and are nothing quality wise, like what you’d expect from Real Techniques brushes. Plus the bristles feel quite cheap and scratchy, which is something you never experience with the main range brushes.

The two brushes included within the Real Techniques Easy As 123 Shadow Duo are the Base Shadow Brush and the Crease Shadow Brush. At £7.99, it works out at £4 a brush which isn’t bad, and I like the idea that this set is designed to be super basic.

However even if you’re starting out in makeup, I’d recommend one of their main range brush sets like the Real Techniques Eye Shade & Blend Brush Duo. That duo is only £8.99, and the brushes have metallic, weightier handles with better quality.
