Beauty Laundrette is a relatively new beauty brand to Superdrug, and I ordered the Beauty Laundrette Pink Satin Moisturiser to try, as I’m looking for a new lightweight body lotion.
Beauty Laundrette Pink Satin Moisturiser
I have lots of rich, decadent body lotions, but I’ve been trying to find a lightweight lotion which absorbs quickly, and the Beauty Laundrette Pink Satin Moisturiser was only £1.50. I don’t know if it’s on sale, or if it’s being discontinued, but for £1.50 I figured it was worth a try.
“Proven to keep your skin moisturised for 48 hours and with our amazing Triple Oil Complex, this is perfect for when your skin is feeling parched. Use with our Pink Satin Body Wash for best results.“
All of the Beauty Laundrette products are themed around laundry products, with their packaging, branding, scents and pretty much everything. As well as ordering the Beauty Laundrette Pink Satin Moisturiser, I also ordered a few of their other products to try. I can’t recall reading any reviews on their products, so I didn’t know what to try. However, £1.50 for 250ml is amazing for a body lotion.
The Beauty Laundrette Pink Satin Moisturiser has a very subtle whipped consistency. It feels just like an ordinary body lotion, but if you look very closely, you can see tiny little bubbles.
This is one of the quickest absorbing body lotions I’ve ever tried. It takes almost one swipe of your hand over the skin to rub it in, so it’s perfect for applying just before getting changed, as it sinks instantly in to the skin.
The lotion has a very very light fresh scent, but it doesn’t linger on the skin. It’s not the most hydrating body lotion in the world, but for under £2 it does the job, and I really like that it absorbs so quickly.
