Huda Beauty launched three brand new Brown Obsessions Palettes at the end of March, all of which have an amazing tortoiseshell themed packaging. The Huda Beauty Toffee Brown Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette is just one of the three palettes within the collection, with there also being the Caramel Brown Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette and the Chocolate Brown Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette too.
Huda Beauty Toffee Brown Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette
“Infused with divine swirls of toffee, caramel and chocolate, these Brown Obsessions mimic the dreamy tortoiseshell designs that Huda is obsessed with. Effortlessly easy to master, these sumptuously pigmented palettes feature four delectable finishes in complementary tones that look ravishing on every skin tone.“
The Huda Beauty Toffee Brown Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette is £27, and features nine pans inside a square shaped compact just like the rest of the Huda Beauty Mini Obsessions Palettes. I own nearly every single one of Mini Obsessions Palettes, except the Pastel collection, and I absolutely love them.
I love that they’re nice and compact, and that they each have their very own colour story. My favourite thing about the Huda Beauty Mini Obsessions Palettes, is that they all contain a mixture of finishes too, and the Huda Beauty Toffee Brown Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette is no different.
The Huda Beauty Toffee Brown Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette has a tortoiseshell effect on the lid, and the plastic is a deep translucent honey colour, which complements the tones within the palette perfectly.
The other two palettes in the Brown Obsessions collection (reviews coming soon) have deep brown and deep burgundy plastic, and I love that they all have the same tortoiseshell print on the lids, but different coloured plastic, so you can easily tell them apart.
The Huda Beauty Toffee Brown Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette features buttery mattes, silky shimmers, high shine foils and marbled finish shadows too. This palette is very much a warm toned gold palette, with a nice mix of tones.
I like that there’s some very light champagne shades, but there’s also two dark brown mattes, one of which is warm toned and the other is cool toned, allowing the shades to be super versatile and create a multitude of looks.
There’s two foiled shades in the palette (shade six and shade eight) which apply almost as if they’re a cream, and they work well when applied with a brush or your fingertip smoothing them across the lids. The shades are all so pigmented, and it’s a beautiful palette. I’ll share my reviews on the other two Brown Obsessions palettes very soon…
