I love a good bath bomb, and I’ve heard so much about shower steamers, but I’d never tried one before. The Miss Patisserie Shower Steamer Collection is a set of four different shower steamers, and I decided to buy it, so I could try four of the different shower steamers Miss Patisserie have to offer.
Miss Patisserie Shower Steamer Collection
“Aromatherapy love for the shower. Break one steamer in half, place on the shower floor and let the essential oils surround you. Inhale the therapeutic aromatherapy oils selected to destress, uplift, calm and invigorate. A perfect gift for all the shower lovers out there.“
The Miss Patisserie Shower Steamer Collection is £22 and contains four large Shower Steamers within a holographic box. Inside the box, the four steamers are individually wrapped in cellophane, and you can’t smell them through the plastic, so when I first bought them, I was instantly disappointed as I couldn’t smell anything. However, as soon as you unwrap them, they do smell a little stronger.
So, what is a shower steamer? They’re basically bath bombs in a tablet form, and you break the square tablet in half and place the half section on your shower’s floor, and it begins to fizz on contact with water.
I usually put mine on the drain whilst the shower is warming up, and by the time it’s reached the right temperature, the tablet has effervesced ready to use the shower without having to worry about slipping over, as it’s not slippery.

I really loved the idea of making a shower more therapeutic, but I just didn’t find any of these scents to be particularly strong. They smell nice, but it doesn’t fill the bathroom with scent like it would when using essential oils. I’m glad I tried them, but it’s not something I’d repurchase as I don’t feel like £22 is worth it for eight showers with very subtle scents.
