By Beauty Bay Dot-a-Spot Blemish Stickers

I bought the By Beauty Bay Dot-a-Spot Blemish Stickers to try as part of a Beauty Bay order, after seeing over 200 glowing reviews. I’ve tried a few different brand’s blemish stickers, and my favourites have to be the Cosrx Pimple Plasters, but they’re quite pricey for how many stickers you get, so I’ve been on the hunt for a more affordable, more accessible option.

Banish breakouts for good with the Dot-A-Spot Blemish Stickers with Hydrocolloid from the Skincare By BEAUTY BAY range. Designed and developed by us to help you tackle breakouts, these stickers are the ideal go-to for destressing your skin.

Each hydrocolloid patch works by drawing out pus and other impurities from developing blemishes, as well as reducing the size of already present spots. Available in small and large sizes, use these stickers to dot your way to clearer skin.

The By Beauty Bay Dot-a-Spot Blemish Stickers are £5.95 and come in a cardboard sleeve, containing two individually sleeved packets of blemish stickers. In the whole entire pack, you get 72 patches which is amazing value for money. It works out at just 8 pence per sticker, and per treatment, which is the best value I’ve seen from any brand.

How do you use the By Beauty Bay Dot-a-Spot Blemish Stickers?

  • Choose a patch based on the size of your blemish.
  • Peel the patch off the sheet and apply directly onto clean, dry skin, pressing gently so that it adheres to your skin.
  • Leave on for a minimum of two hours, ideally overnight, before removing.
  • Suitable for use on whiteheads, blackheads, and pustules.
  • Not suitable for papules, cystic (under the skin), or nodular acne.

I’ve tried many different brands of blemish treatment stickers, and the By Beauty Bay Dot-a-Spot Blemish Stickers are some of the stickiest stickers I’ve tried. It’s actually a little difficult to remove them from the backing sheet, but I’d recommend using tweezers to gently peel them away, so you don’t crease the sticker, but their stickiness is what makes them so effective. They adhere to the skin without ever coming away, or peeling.

If you have a blemish which is just beginning to form, these stickers are perfect as they can actually stop the blemish in its tracks, so it doesn’t turn into an active breakout. They also work well on active breakouts to reduce redness, and they do a great job at drawing out the impurities within the blemish to the top, to help with the healing process.

I have noticed that they don’t work as effectively on hormonal breakouts, but nothing does, but on any other type of blemish, breakout or blackhead, they work wonders, and they’re so affordable too, which is even better!
