Collection Gorgeous Glow Blush Stick Review / Swatches

Collection launched a huge collection of new products as part of their spring/summer collection, and the Collection Gorgeous Glow Blush Stick is one of three new cream sticks within the collection. I love cream blushers, highlighters and bronzers, and the packaging looked really sleek, so I was excited to give one a try.

The Collection Gorgeous Glow Blush Stick is one of three new sticks on offer. In addition to the Blush Stick, there’s a Bronzer Stick and also a Highlighter Stick. They’re £4.99 each, and they’re housed in baby pink, plastic, hexagonal tubes with a twist-up design.

Directions

  • Blush: apply to the apple of the cheeks, blend out with fingertips or fluffy brush.
  • Highlight: Apply to high points of the cheeks and blend out. For a full glowy look, swipe across brow bone, centre of forehead, end of nose and cupid bows.
  • Contour: Swipe the stick underneath the cheekbones to create depth. Then, onto the outer corner or the forehead, jawline and side of the nose for a fully sculpted look – and blend!

The Collection Gorgeous Glow Blush Stick is only available in one single shade, and it’s a rosy pink. In the stick, you can see it’s quite shimmery, but once on the skin, it’s actually glittery too.

I hate glittery blushers, so I’m not a fan. I like the formula, in that it’s creamy and easy to apply, and lasts for around four hours before beginning to fade. However, the glitter just doesn’t do it for me, but for under £5, it’s a nice cream blusher, and I hope Collection launch more shades in the near future in both matte and shimmer finishes.
