Huda Beauty Lip Contour 2.0 Lip Liner Review / Swatches

The Huda Beauty Lip Contour 2.0 Collection launched back in April, as a brand new reformulated collection of lip liners. The original Huda Beauty Lip Contour Lip Pencils launched way back in 2016, and I own five of the original formula, and really like them, so when I heard they’d revamped and improved the formula, I couldn’t wait to try them.

In addition to the Huda Beauty Lip Contour 2.0 Collection, Huda Beauty also launched two new lipstick collections as part of the brand’s Power Bullet Collection. I’ve already shared reviews on two of the new lipstick shades; Angel and Boss Chick, and today I have one of the new lip liners to show you.

Huda Beauty Lip Contour 2.0 Lip Liner Review Swatches

The Huda Beauty Lip Contour 2.0 Lip Liners are available in twelve different shades, and what I like about the names, is that their descriptive. With the lipsticks, they have names like Angel and Boss Chick, but the liners are named after the shade they are.

So you have shade names like Universal Red, Honey Beige, Muted Pink and Vivid Pink. I definitely appreciate cute names, but at a time when we can’t swatch instore, having descriptive shade names like these are really helpful when deciding which shade/s you want to try.

This shade of the Huda Beauty Lip Contour 2.0 Lip Liner is Pinky Brown, which, like the name suggests, is a pinky brown and I feel like this shade complements both Angel and Boss Chick Lipsticks from the new lipstick collection too.

It’s the kind of shade which works with pink, nude or brown toned lipsticks, making it very versatile, especially for me as nude lip shades are my favourite. I really like how creamy any smooth the formula is, and if you like the original Huda Beauty Lip Contour Lip Liners, you’ll love the new formula as it’s longer lasting and even more pigmented.
