Wishful Yo Glow Tropical Fruits Enzyme Scrub

Wishful Yo Glow Tropical Fruits Enzyme Scrub

Wishful is the skincare brand of Huda Beauty, and the Wishful Yo Glow Tropical Fruits Enzyme Scrub launched back in April as the latest, limited edition scented version of Yo Glow. The original Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub launched in February of last year, as the very first product for Wishful, and the brand has gone from strength to strength ever since.

As part of the Wishful Christmas collection, the brand launched a delicious, minty Candy Cane Yo Glow, which was limited edition, and it did smell amazing. As it was limited edition, it was discontinued, and I was gutted when my tube ran out, but the Wishful Yo Glow Tropical Fruits Enzyme Scrub smells even more amazing, and it’s a fun, summer, tropical themed scent.

A LIMITED-EDITION, unique scrub that’s packed with the same signature ingredients as Yo Glow ™ (pineapple & papaya enzymes as well as AHA & BHA’s) + a new delicious scent of tropical fruits & flowers all wrapped up in special-edition packaging!

The Wishful Yo Glow Tropical Fruits Enzyme Scrub features a hybrid formula which gently provide an enzyme, acid and physical exfoliation with no redness or irritation to the skin whatsoever. Yo Glow Tropical Fruits has been designed to help buff away dead skin cells, and allows you to create a smooth canvas for makeup, which is how Huda promotes it, as her first step before applying any makeup.

The original Yo Glow has a lemon yellow plastic tube, but the Wishful Yo Glow Tropical Fruits Enzyme Scrub has had a cute summery glow-up, with hibiscus flowers and pineapples all over the tube.

The Wishful Yo Glow Tropical Fruits Enzyme Scrub has the most amazing papaya fragrance, which reminds me of dried papaya. It’s a really authentic papaya scent, and it’s perfect for the tropical themed scrub. It’s a cellulose enzyme scrub, which you massage into dry skin, and it balls up into little white flakes due to the cellulose, and you simply wipe the flakes away to reveal brighter, smoother skin.

I have tried many cellulose scrubs, but the Yo Glow scrub is my favourite, and the Wishful Yo Glow Tropical Fruits Enzyme Scrub is such a fun addition to the range. Not only does it smell amazing, but it performs amazing too, and reduces dry patches, and leaves my skin feeling amazingly smooth.

If I’m using a higher coverage, less-forgiving foundation, Yo Glow is a must-have beforehand, as it helps to minimise texture, and makeup just applies so much better over the top. Even if you don’t try the limited edition Wishful Yo Glow Tropical Fruits Enzyme Scrub, you have to try the original Yo Glow, as I can’t imagine any skin type not seeing a benefit, and I really do love it.
