Nintendo Switch Blog Giveaway!

It’s been a while since I posted a giveaway here on GemmaEtc.com, but today I have a fun giveaway in collaboration with a collection of bloggers, and one lucky winner will win a Nintendo Switch Lite console.

I’m a big Nintendo fan myself, and have the Nintendo 3DS XL which I love to use to play my favourite Yoshi’s Island and Super Mario Bros. as they remind me of my SNES when I was little. Playing the DS is a great way to unwind, but Nintendo no longer make the DS series, so that’s where the Nintendo Switch comes in, and there’s two models to choose from; the original Nintendo Switch, and the more portable Nintendo Switch Lite, which is perfect for on-the-go.

Nintendo Switch Lite

A Nintendo Switch Lite is a smaller and more compact version of the Nintendo Switch. So although you cannot use the Switch Lite for playing games on the TV, it is much better for travelling. As it is smaller, it is also better for smaller hands to be able to hold and play it.

The Nintendo Switch Lite retails at £199.99 and the games are bought separately. You can buy them from the Nintendo shop online if you want a digital download. Or most supermarkets or toy shops sell them as a physical game.

The screen is 5.5 inches in size, if you compare it to an iPhone 12 in size, you can see that it is slightly smaller than the phone. But it also has a 720p touch display, which are awesome specs for playing games. it also comes in grey, coral, yellow and blue. So there are a wide variety of colours if you need to buy a few for the different members of the family. You get to choose the colour when you order the console*.

The battery lasts between 3 – 7 hours, and you can add a memory card for extra storage of games. You can usually get a cheap memory card from Amazon.
