ColourPop So Charming Creme Gel Liner Duo Review and Swatches

I purchased the ColourPop So Charming Creme Gel Liner Duo, as well as a few of the other new ColourPop Creme Gel Liner Duos in a recent ColourPop order. I had tried to order the ColourPop Like A Charm Creme Gel Liner Vault, but ColourPop sent me a set of false lashes instead.

I spoke to customer service, and was refunded, but I still wanted to try some of the liners, so thought the liner duos would be a good alternative, and a great way to try the eyeliner formula.

The ColourPop So Charming Creme Gel Liner Duo is $14, and contains two full sized ColourPop BFF Creme Gel Liner Eyeliners, which are retractable eyeliners.

Each of the liners is $7 to purchase individually, but nearly every individual liner is currently half price, so I don’t know if the single liners are going to be discontinued, but the new range of liner duos are all still at the full price of $14.

The ColourPop So Charming Creme Gel Liner Duo includes the two shades Lover Boy (bright fuchsia) and Charmer (deep plum), and the duo launched to complement the ColourPop Fine Feathered Palette, which features pink, berry and purple tones.

I can’t recall ever trying the Creme Gel Liner formula before, which is why I wanted the vault set, but the formula isn’t the best, unfortunately. Both shades are very dry, and crumble on contact with the skin, even when warmed before applying.

As they’re dry, they tug and pull the skin, which is less than ideal around the eyes. They’re both pretty shades, but the formula is just too dry. Since ordering the ColourPop So Charming Creme Gel Liner Duo, I’ve read a lot of negative reviews about the eyeliner formula, so I don’t think I’d order any more, but I do have two more liner duos I bought at the same time, which I’ll share very soon.
