I’ve tried a lot of Aldi beauty products, and many are credible dupes, so when the ALDI Power For Women Eau de Parfum launched, I had to try it, to see if it was a dupe for Paco Rabanne Lady Million like so many claims. Some people see similar packaging, and label something a dupe, but for me, the dupe relates to the formula or scent, as the packaging is insignificant, especially with something like perfume.
ALDI Power For Women Eau de Parfum
“Stuck for gift ideas, or simply want to treat yourself? This Power for Women Eau De Parfum by Lacura smells divine. Find the perfect scent that suits you making you feel confident no matter where you are. This luxury parfum is the perfect present for a loved one or to add to your collection.”
Something I think Aldi are really letting themselves down by, is the lack of fragrance notes promoted with their fragrances on the website. There’s no mention of the notes within the ALDI Power For Women Eau de Parfum, so it’s hard to blind buy without knowing what the scent is going to possibly smell like.
The ALDI Power For Women Eau de Parfum is £4.99, and contains 100ml of perfume, which is so cheap and affordable. The packaging isn’t the prettiest, but I would rather the money be spent on the formula and sillage, rather than be spent mostly on the packaging.
Is the ALDI Power For Women Eau de Parfum a dupe for Paco Rabanne Lady Million? No. It’s similar, but the scent is not the same, nor is the longevity either. I’ve reviewed Lady Million here on the blog before, it’s a fragrance I always have in my collection because I love it.
I cannot rave about the Aldi Marc Jacobs Daisy dupe enough, as it does smell identical to the original, but that’s not the case for the ALDI Power For Women Eau de Parfum. It’s nice enough, but it’s not one of their best fragrances, but for £4.99, it’s a bargain regardless.
