I have an exciting advent calendar unboxing for you today, and it’s the Boohoo Beauty Advent Calendar 2021, which launched on Friday. I shared the news surrounding the launch of the calendar on my beauty news blog, and here I have the unboxing of the entire calendar to share with you, so keep on reading to find out all about the Boohoo 2021 advent calendar.
“Why wait for Christmas to give yourself a gift when you can treat yourself for 24 days straight? Our beauty advent calendar for 2021 has officially landed and this one is unmissable. Featuring some of the biggest brands from Eylure to Bondi Sands, boohoo’s beauty advent calendar is perfect for skincare and beauty lovers to start the countdown to Christmas. Jam packed with some of the biggest must-have buys of 2021, the calendar includes 24 unique beauty and skincare products for you to try, worth over £140.”
Boohoo Beauty Advent Calendar 2021
The Boohoo Beauty Advent Calendar 2021 is £60, and the contents inside the calendar are worth over £140, so you’re getting £80 more in value, which is amazing. It’s a really pretty and feminine calendar, with a baby pink, blush pink, red and gold foil design, with stars scattered all over the outside, and inside the calendar. It’s a perforated door format calendar, with twenty four beauty treats, from all of the many fantastic brands Boohoo has to offer.
Before I get on to the unboxing section of my review, I have to address a layout issue I have with the Boohoo Beauty Advent Calendar 2021. I believe when my calendar was produced, the plastic insert on the right half of the calendar was put in the wrong way round, or was the wrong insert, as the doors didn’t match up with the products within the insert.
So there were days when there wasn’t a product, and some days which had four, but that’s only because the insert didn’t line up with the door placement. I still got the twenty-four beauty treats, but it started to go a little wrong from day nine onwards.
So if you buy the Boohoo Beauty Advent Calendar 2021, and notice you’re missing products, I’d recommend asking a loved one or friend to slit the calendar’s edge open, and pulling out the insert, and twisting it round, so the doors match the insert, so you don’t spoil the surprise by seeing what’s inside the calendar.
It’s very easily done in advent calendar manufacturing, so I can’t show you each product by product for each day, and instead I’m going to show you each item individually, and it’ll not be in chronological order, but maybe that’s a good thing, to still give you the element of surprise. So let’s see what’s inside the Boohoo Beauty Advent Calendar 2021…
OK, so let’s start with the Diamond Whites Black Edition Coconut Shell Charcoal Tooth Polish, worth £10. Black Edition is made from 100% activated coconut shell charcoal and will change the way you whiten your teeth, as well as strengthen your gums, remove toxins from your mouth and absorb bacteria to give your teeth the Diamond White Smile you have always wanted.
Next in the Boohoo Beauty Advent Calendar 2021 are the BrushWorks Tweezers, in a baby pink colour, and they’re a full size pair of tweezers. BrushWorks are a great brand, and these tweezers feel nice and precise.
Then we get a Boohoo Embroidered Gold Satin Sleep Mask, which has a cute stitched eyelash design. It’s an elasticated sleep mask, and feels soft against the skin. I can’t sleep without a sleep mask, so I’m always happy to see sleep masks inside a calendar.
Next a treat for the feet, and it’s the Nails Inc Thirsty Feet Deep Moisture Foot Mask, worth £5. Nails Inc are one of my favourite nail care brands (my nail polish in these photos is a Nails Inc polish) so I’m happy to say there’s two Nails Inc products in this calendar. These are pedicure socks powered by a blend of green tea, ginko leaf extract, sweet almond and peppermint extract for instant, rejuvenating results.
If you like wearing self tan, the Boohoo Beauty Advent Calendar 2021 also includes the Sunkissed Super Soft Velvet Tanning Mitt, worth £5.99, in a cute tropical leaf print design.
Next are the Zoe Ayla Styling Clips, which is a pack of five, and they’re designed to pin your hair back, whilst doing your makeup or skincare routine, and the silicone pads prevent the clips leaving dents or kinks in your hair, and they’re worth €20.
Next in the Boohoo Beauty Advent Calendar 2021, is the first of many makeup products, and it’s the I Heart Revolution Tasty Peach Soft Peach Liquid Lipstick from the Tasty Peach collection that launched earlier this year. The shade is Fleur, and it’s the prettiest peachy nude, with a peach scent too.
I don’t think any beauty advent calendar would be complete without some party lashes, and the Boohoo Beauty Advent Calendar 2021 includes the Eylure Enchanted Amethyst Lashes, worth £5.95, which I featured here on my blog back in November. They’re beautiful lashes, with a clear band for a seamless blend, and a nice wispy lash design, and they come with Eylure Lash Adhesive too.
If you have any last minute parties, the next item might be handy, and it’s the Ambre Solaire Natural Bronzer Self Tan Wipe x 1 worth £1.50, which can be used on both the face or the body, for up to a one week tan.
I love getting face masks in advent calendars, and the Boohoo Beauty Advent Calendar 2021 features the Danielle Anti-Aging Face Sheet Mask x 1, worth £3.95. It’s an essence infused sheer mask, working in just 15 minutes to hydrate and plump, minimising the appearance of fine lines.
This item is a little random for a beauty advent calendar, but let’s face it, it’s something we’re all using right now, and will continue to do so forever. It’s the Dirty Works Anti-Bac To Basics Hand Gel 50ml, worth £1.50. For an alcohol hand gel, this one smells amazing, with a tropical fruity scent, which smells nicer than any other hand gel I’ve tried, and it kills 99% of bacteria too.
Next is a palette, which is very exciting, and it’s the Sleek MakeUP i-Divine Vintage Romance Eyeshadow Palette, worth £8.99. It’s a pretty purple, navy and neutral palette, and of course, it’s full size which is even better, and you can’t go wrong when it comes to Sleek MakeUP eyeshadows.
Then we have the most incredibly scented Dirty Works Cube Tropicana Fizzer Bath Cubes, worth £2.50, and it’s a solid bath bomb brick, which you can break off into eight cubes, thus giving you eight baths from this brick. It smells seriously good, and you get 200g of product too, so it’s a bargain for £2.50.
To go with our pedicure socks, the Boohoo Beauty Advent Calendar 2021 also includes a treat for the hands, and it’s the Le Mini Macaron Gel Polish Remover Kit, worth £5.50, and it contains everything you need to removal gel nails at home, including little sleeves you place over each nail, so you don’t have to mess around with super drying liquid acetone and foil wraps.
Once we’re applying our foot masks, we then have the Beauty Works Pearl Nourishing Mask 30ml, which comes in a resealable pouch. It’s an argan oil milk protein infused hair mask, designed to offer deep hydration, which is what we’ll all need come the winter months.
Next is a very festive, and beautiful nail polish! It’s the Barry M Gelly Hi-Shine Nail Paint in the shade Hot Chilli, and it’s full size, and worth £3.99. It’s the ultimate, bright red and couldn’t be more perfect for Christmas manicures.
The next item in the Boohoo Beauty Advent Calendar 2021, is a two-piece, and it’s the Zoe Ayla Silicone Facial Scrubbers, and you get two silicone pads which slip between your fingers to gently exfoliate the skin, and they also double up as makeup brush cleansing pads under running water with a brush shampoo too.
Next in the Boohoo Beauty Advent Calendar 2021 is a very exciting product, and it’s the Nails Inc Full Coverage Biodegradable Sparkling Glitter Nail Polish in the shade Partying In Portobello, and it’s full size, and worth £8.
Not only does the calendar give us a red polish for Christmas, they’ve also given us gold glitter! It doesn’t get much more festive than that, and the gold glitter would make for a gorgeous gold glitter accent nail, and I cannot rave about Nails Inc polishes enough.
We have another Revolution product, and it’s the I Heart Revolution Chocolate Dipped Mascara, which is full size, and is worth £5. This mascara is one of the bestselling Revolution mascaras, so I love that it’s included within this calendar, and it’s infused with cocoa extract.
We have a product for the body, and it’s the So…? Mykonos Nights Body Mist 50ml, worth £1.50, and features a scent of zingy lemon and mandarin, which open up the fragrance, progressing into a floral heart of orange blossom and jasmine, before leaving you with a trail of sweet amber and tonka bean.
We then have a lip gloss, and this is a lip plumping gloss. It’s the Barry M That’s Swell XXL Extreme Lip Plumper, in the shade High Key, worth £4.99. High Key is a shimmery mauve, and offers an instant, noticeable plumping effect to the lips.
The Boohoo Beauty Advent Calendar 2021 includes a Boohoo Red Beauty Sponge, which is a teardrop shaped sponge, and is nice and soft.
To use with the tanning mitt we got earlier in the calendar, the Boohoo Beauty Advent Calendar 2021 contains a full sized Bondi Sands Aero Aerated Self Tanning Foam LiquidGold Self Tan 225ml, worth £18.99. It’s amazing that you get a full size fake tan, and it’s a good inclusion for so close to Christmas Day.
The last item in the calendar is the I Heart Revolution Chocolate Lip Gloss, worth £3, and is in the shade Salted Caramel. I’ve reviewed a couple of these glosses, and they’re really lovely. So silky on the lips, smell delicious with zero stickiness, so I’m excited to see one included within the Boohoo calendar.
So that’s the entire Boohoo Beauty Advent Calendar 2021 unboxed for you. Please remember my run-down wasn’t in chronological order, but you can still see all twenty-four of the treats inside the calendar. It’s an amazing calendar, and for £60, it’s a bargain, and it’s available right now.
