I love the Fresh Beauty Sugar Lemon fragrance, so I decided to try the Fresh Beauty Sugar Lemon Bath & Shower Gel, as the idea of bathing in a sugary citrus scent was my idea of heaven. If you like Soap & Glory Sugar Crush, you’ll really enjoy the Sugar Lemon scent, and I couldn’t wait to try the bath and shower gel in that scent.
Fresh Beauty Sugar Lemon Bath & Shower Gel
“Bathe your skin and your senses in our bright effervescent lemon scent with this foaming shower gel. Enriched with citrus fruit extracts, nourishing shea butter, and vitamins C & E, it gently cleanses and revitalizes the skin for your freshest shower yet.“
The Fresh Beauty Sugar Lemon Bath & Shower Gel is one of six scents of the Bath & Shower Gels. They each contain 300ml of product, in a pump bottle, and are £21 each.
I think that’s expensive for a shower gel, but I decided to try the Sugar Lemon scent when I was doing a Cult Beauty order to get one of their GWPs, and it was the perfect opportunity to try the Sugar Lemon scent in another formula I hadn’t tried.
The Fresh Beauty Sugar Lemon Bath & Shower Gel smells incredible. It has the same sickly sweet scent, with a hint of citrus, and it does smell good, but it doesn’t leave any lasting fragrance on the skin, which is disappointing for a £21 shower gel.
Not only does it not leave the skin scented at all, it doesn’t lather very well. I’ve tried it with my hands, a shower puff and a loofah, and it just doesn’t lather.
The Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Wash is £5.50 for 200ml more product, it lathers beautifully, and it scents the skin for hours, so I’ve found the Fresh Beauty Sugar Lemon Bath & Shower Gel to be a little disappointing. I wouldn’t try any of the other Fresh Beauty shower gels, but I would try other Sugar Lemon products from their range, as I love the scent so much.
