One of the best bath oils I’ve ever used is the Olverum Bath Oil, and I loved the Olverum Restful Sleep Pillow Mist, so I was excited to try another product from the brand. Olverum have a lovely range of bath and body products, and the Olverum Nourishing Body Oil sounded like the most perfect body oil to keep the skin hydrated, nourished and supple this winter.
Olverum Nourishing Body Oil
“A rich, nourishing therapeutic oil to provide exquisite, long-lasting moisturisation.
Promising a relaxing and revitalising experience for body and spirit, our unique and indulgent formulation contains over 30 sustainably sourced botanical oils and extracts, and is designed to leave the skin feeling smooth, plumped, and rejuvenated.“
The Olverum Nourishing Body Oil is £42, and contains 100ml of product within a beautifully sleek clear glass bottle, with a black pump. All of the Olverum products have very chic, minimal packaging designs, and the body oil is no different.
This particular body oil is the Olverum Nourishing Body Oil, but Olverum actually have a couple of other body oils to choose from, including the Dry Body Oil and the Firming Body Oil, depending on what you’re looking for, in a body oil.
I knew this body oil was going to be amazing, as the other two Olverum products I’ve tried have been. This body oil has even won awards (three to be exact), and my skin’s been exceptionally dry this winter.
When a body oil claims to be nourishing, it tends to mean the formula is richer, and heavier than say a dry body oil, which can mean they take longer to absorb. However, that’s not the case for the Olverum Nourishing Body Oil. It glides over the skin with little massaging needed, and it absorbs beautifully too, with zero greasiness.
I really like the subtle sheen it leaves on the skin, and it just smells incredible, with the same divine herbal, spa-like scent as the rest of the Olverum range. Anyone would appreciate this luxury body oil as a gift, it’s such a treat!
