I reviewed the Revolution Pro Renew Lip Conditioner on my other beauty blog, and bought the Revolution Pro Restore Lip Balm at the same time as I bought the Lip Conditioner.
The packaging and claims gave me By Terry vibes straight away, but it was only when I got them home, and tried them, did I realise that in fact, both products were amazingly affordable By Terry dupes.
Revolution Pro Restore Lip Balm
If you haven’t read my first review, the Revolution Pro Renew Lip Conditioner is a spot-on dupe for the By Terry Baume de Rose Liquid Lip Balm, and it was a little bit awkward, because when I mentioned this in a post on Instagram, the owner of By Terry commented on my post telling me it was in no way a dupe, but believe me, having tried both over a nine-month period, it absolutely is.

The Revolution Pro Restore Lip Balm is housed within a clear, frosted glass jar with a gold chrome lid. It looks and feels very luxe, and it contains a solid lip balm in a pastel pink colour (just like the By Terry Baume de Rose Lip Balm), and you apply the balm with your fingertip.
Recently, the Revolution Pro Restore Lip Balm was labelled “Honey” on the Revolution website, however, to me, it smells like rose, just like the By Terry version. I can’t detect any honey notes whatsoever, and it smells so similar to the By Terry balm.
The Revolution Pro Restore Lip Balm has a milky pink hue, but it doesn’t add colour to the lips, so it’d work for any skintone without leaving the lips looking ashy. It feels so creamy and buttery for a lip balm, and for me, it works like a lip mask rather than a balm, which I love.
It doesn’t matter how dry or sore my lips can be feeling, an application of this balm fixes everything, and it’s £7. Like I mentioned in my other review, I’m sure the By Terry version does have extra science and fancier ingredients within the formula.
However, not everyone can afford to spend £40 (yes, £40) on one lip balm, so the fact Revolution has created a fabulous dupe for £7 is fantastic, and I cannot recommend the Revolution Pro Restore Lip Balm enough.
